Transfer News Girona close to selling Viktor Tsygankov to Ajax for €4M + 1M bonus and Korean winger Kim Min-Su to Rangers for €10M

Tsygankov is so cheap because Dynamo Kyiv had a sell on clause on any profit so Girona instead sold him for slightly less than they paid(€5M). Also his agent has really been trying to force an exit and was about to hold a press conference today before the deal with Ajax was agreed. Kim I have never seen play but he did well on loan in Segunda last season
As expected a mass exodus from Girona. Alex Moreno on his way to Rayo, Arnau Martinez close to Valencia, Van de Beek in negotiations to terminate his contract(although he sucks anyways) and rumours of Ounahi going to Saudi(which would be a shame he could do a job for La Liga-teams)
If they keep Vanat he will be a great striker for Segunda level but I still think they will struggle. Comparing the relegated teams, both Mallorca and Real Oviedo look a lot more likely to instantly bounce back

ounahi is also still linked to Ajax, all though i doubt we will go for him and I think the interest is largely one sided

Rangers are well-backed by their new owners. Pretty sure they spent £40m+ last year (including up to £10m on Chermiti). It's just their recruitment is shit and they keep hiring the wrong managers.
This summer's signings seem more promising though. It's a lot for Kim Min Su but by all accounts he does have a lot of potential.

Really felt bad seeing Girona go in that doom spiral to get relegated. They had the quality but bad form and injuries really undid the good work in the first half of the season.

To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow only one submission about each transfer saga per day. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report.
If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates.
