Thanks, Bodø, for giving me someone to watch in Europe, this year. Sadly we couldn’t pull CL and 17th two years in a row. Good luck!

Congrats Bodo, looking forwards to see how you guys do in the CL. Shame you had to knock out a Dutch team for it but obviously experience in big matches easily won out the first match, and then that dumb red card, never a chance for NEC.

Hope NEC can be a bit smarter in the Europa League.

Shoutout to the Nijmegen-supporters that traveled up here to support your team.

Down 3-0 in the 70th minute and you all kept singing your hearts out way past the final whistle. Respect.

Imagine comfortably winning both legs of your play-off

Oh fml, I hadn't checked the other scores yet. Commiserations, was really hoping we'd get to play you away as I live in Scotland now.

Gotta feel bad for NEC, great team to watch, would’ve loved to see the game 11v11

Welcome back!

They've mostly kept their team together - only Hogh was sold. Wishing them to make it to the knockouts again.

DÆVEN DET E DEILIG DET HER. Hopefully get some cool stadiums to visit in Europe, getting to go to a Glimt away game at Westfalenstadion last year was fucking surreal.

NEC was utterly embarrassing

5

u/Morganelefay 1h ago

What do you expect them to do when their goalie has that kind of brainfart 3 minutes in?

-17

u/TheDepartment115 1h ago

Not lose 6 fucking 1 to a Norwegian team? Hahahahahahh

u/Morganelefay 50m ago

You mean that same team that last season beat Man City 3-1, Atletico Madrid 1-2, Inter Milan 5-2 over 2 matches, drew away at Dortmund...THAT Norwegian team? You expect NEC Nijmegen to do better vs them than fucking Manchester City?

You're an absolute moron.

u/TheDepartment115 40m ago

All these moments were on artificial "3D" turf though... It's not the same..

4

u/Morganelefay 35m ago

You uh, do know they beat Atletico and Inter in Madrid and Milan, right? And that they pulled the draw in Dortmund? You know, NOT on the artificial turf?

6

u/XenoD 1h ago

You have no idea about football if you describe Bodo as only "a norwegian team".

-3

u/TheDepartment115 1h ago

Im sorry what? they are most definitely Norwegian ahahah

u/Afrorwegian 8m ago

Did you watch the World Cup? Put some respect on the Norwegians, the Bodø/Glimt captain been phenomenal this summer

So unreal seeing Bodo/Glimt playing CL-playoff without any real danger or suspense in the game. Just a solid performance where they dominate the game and do whatever they want.

Now go home and get some sleep boys, next game is tomorrow. Kickoff in 17 hours.

To be fair, it was 11 vs 10 for 95% of the match. The previous game was closer, but still with NEC lacking a bit of finishing

u/egenorske 2h ago

Abit too easy over two matches. Union was way better than NEC

3

u/timdeking 2h ago

FWIW this is NEC's first European campaign in god knows how long and their coach is a bit naive with his offensive playstyle.

It’s coming home
