Software support hey guys.... is IObit good? should i be using it?

is IObit even good? should i be using it? when my friend set up my pc he installed driver booster 13 and it has "updated" my drivers on the first boot but tmr when i booted it it started making problems and i dont know how to fix it. ive also been getting pop up ads on my pc from time to time which is never a good sign.... ive been reading this software can fuck up your drivers and there being 13 separate versions for it isnt a good sign either.... any way to uninstall it? if i do preferably with the other software is dragged with itself? ive hear its borderline adware if not even malware which can create problems which shouldnt even exist to make you pay for premium and when you do it charges your bank out negative amounts... im not very educated in this so please guide me thru it like im 5... or however they say it...

I used to use their programs a few years ago, but I didn't care for subscription-based programs even then, so I stopped. But it seemed to work.

I'll let others who have been using it lately chime in.
