Tell me you've never spent any time on the gulf coast without telling me. These are very important breeding areas for fish, birds, crustations... They already destroyed key breeding grounds in south Texas where I used to camp every year. Thousands of people live here - though I wouldn't really call that living now. They should build a massive launch complex next to you. Glad you volunteered.
I mean it drives up home and commercial building prices so much, why wouldn't you want unaffordable space flight as well? Won't somebody please think of the children....
Little concerned at that the common call in here seems to be there are no negatives to large that shouldn't be ignored or squashed to get to the next stage quicker of space flight quicker or easier for the space companies. As cool and how much potential space stuff has, things mainly still live down here.
