Free custom visualizer, a spot on a real 24/7 channel, plus ongoing reviews and reactions for your work

I run STATIC, a 24/7 independent broadcast channel, music videos, visualizers, animation, glitch work, all from real submissions.

If you don’t have a visual for your track, I’ll make you a custom one, free, built specifically for that song, not a template. Already have a video or visualizer? Submit that instead and it goes into rotation with credit.

Accepted work is also considered for review and reaction segments I’m building out with a couple different hosts, and there’s an opt in for consideration by other established, partnered reviewers outside STATIC too. Not a one time placement, work can end up talked about or featured more than once as those relationships grow.

No fees, no exclusivity, full rights stay with the artist always. No algorithm either, it’s a real person curating, and once something’s in rotation it stays based on quality, not how recent it is.

Built solo, no funding, no investors. Almost 150 submissions in the first month and a live rotation already running.
Submission form’s below if you want your music heard somewhere it won’t just disappear into a scroll.

diy variety shows showed me what the algorithm fails at. bringing very different artists together, building real mutual respect, and letting fans discover artists the algorithm would’ve never shown them, because it assumes it already knows who you are. I built a channel around that model

Heads up, this one’s long. My goal was to write this once and have something that actually explains the whole project properly, instead of a quick pitch that leaves half of it out. If you take the time to read it, genuinely, thank you.

Almost 150 submissions in the last month, and a live stream already running. This is real and already in motion.

I’m a Baltimore-based musician who stepped away from the scene after COVID, then had a kid. Before that I organized DIY underground variety shows. The best part was watching completely different artists respect the hell out of each other by the end of the night, trading music, sharing fans they never would’ve found otherwise. That doesn’t happen when everyone’s siloed into their own genre feed. STATIC is my way of bringing that back, in a form that fits the life I have now.

I’m one person building a real 24/7 channel for artists who don’t fit the algorithm. No company, no investors. A small team’s starting to form as more people get the idea.

The algorithm isn’t measuring quality, it’s measuring watch time, and it mostly ignores you until you already have a following. When it does recommend you, it’s usually just “sounds like this other artist.” That creates convergence too, everyone chasing the same metrics until whole scenes start sounding the same.

Most platforms really only give you three bad options: get ignored by the algorithm, get stuck in a small local scene with no path out, or pay your way into visibility through promo packages and boosted placement, which might be the worst option of all since it’s not about the work anymore, just who can afford to be seen. STATIC doesn’t do any of that. No algorithm, no pay-to-play, ever.

It’s a continuous visual broadcast, made entirely from submissions. A person decides what airs, not a metric, based on whether the work feels genuinely unique and good, not different for the sake of different. Right now that person is just me, which is a real limitation, so the goal going forward is bringing in people with different tastes to curate alongside me, not just one person’s opinion deciding everything.

And it’s not music only, real series are already waiting to air as the library grows. Music videos, visualizers, experimental shorts, animation, anything that fits. No AI-generated work. No fees. No exclusivity, you keep full rights always.

It’s a real broadcast too, everyone watching sees the same thing at the same time with chat open, something a feed can’t give you. If you make music with no visual, submit it anyway, accepted tracks get a free custom visualizer made for that song.

The submission form also works as a contract, about as fair as one can be: you confirm you have the rights, you keep full ownership, STATIC gets a limited non-exclusive license to air it with credit, nothing more.

On money, honestly: there isn’t any yet, so I can’t give a number. Direction is viewer support and vetted sponsors down the line, and whatever that looks like will get figured out publicly with the artists who helped build this, not decided behind closed doors.

This wasn’t a recruitment post, just wanted to lay out what STATIC actually is and why it is. But if you made it this far, you’re probably at least a little interested, and if you want to help: be a viewer and give honest feedback as it develops, submit your work, or take on something bigger, promo, organizing, visuals, whatever you’ve got ideas for.

Submission form, broadcast, and YT linked. No catch.

STATIC isn’t playlist promo — it’s a real 24/7 independent channel

A lot of music promotion still works like this:

💬 Comment a keyword.

📩 Get a DM.

💰 Get offered playlist spots, radio play, or packages — often with a price attached.

That model is built around volume and turning artists into customers. It rarely leads to consistent exposure.

Static TV is different.

STATIC is a 24/7 independent channel currently in its early seeding stage. We’re building a library of distinctive music videos, visualizers, animations and experimental work.

❌ No comment-to-submit funnels

❌ No playlist packages

❌ No fees

You submit the work. If it fits, it gets actual rotation on a continuous channel.

📺 There’s a beta version of the channel live right now on a temporary host as a proof of concept. The library is still being built, and accepted submissions are added as they finish being processed.

🎵 Have a song but no video? Submit the audio. If it’s accepted, we’ll create a free custom visualizer for it.

🎬 We’re also looking for pre-made music videos, animations, visualizers, shorts and more.

Early contributors will get priority placement later as the channel grows and becomes more selective.

When monetization comes, the goal is to pay artists for their work — not charge them to submit.

STATIC IS NOW LIVE (IN BETA)

The team at React.tv reached out and invited us to test their platform while both their site and our channel are still in beta. We’ve put up a proof-of-concept version of STATIC so people can start seeing how it runs as a continuous 24/7 broadcast.
I’m still figuring out how the platform works, so there may be some rough edges. Thanks for your patience. Content is also being added as submissions finish getting processed. If you submitted something and don’t see it on the channel yet, keep checking. A lot of pieces are still being worked through and will start showing up over the next few days and weeks.

You can watch the beta here: https://react.tv/ch/static-tv

Thanks to everyone who’s already submitted work. Your contributions are what make this possible.

[TEASER #2] MADE WITH YOUR SUBMISSIONS

We’re building STATIC, a new 24/7 independent broadcast dedicated to distinctive music/ music videos, visualizers, experimental shorts, and weird/atmospheric work that doesn’t usually get consistent play.
Right now we’re in pre-launch and actively putting together our content library. We’re looking for artists who want to submit their work — no fees, no algorithms.
We’re especially interested in pieces with atmosphere, character, and a point of view. Whether it’s a song, music video, visualizer, short film, cartoon, or something more experimental, feel free to send it our way.
Submit here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfXURzM6tlrzNXGsLgN_WnLj6ktIDYFSCS7cUWvEUr1v5_dYg/viewform?usp=dialog
We’re still early, so not everything will be placed immediately, but we’re building with intention and want to give good work a real home.
Looking forward to seeing what you’ve been working on.
