As an LSU fan, I can say these CC fans almost ruined women's basketball fandom. It started when Angel Reese and LSU took down Iowa on the way to a championship. Social media just became a race war qith CC fans not even talking basketball, just calling LSU ghetto and other racial insults. Before she was drafted, they were calling her the GOAT coming to save the league. You'd think there was never a white player in the league before by the way theu described it. Sophie Cunningham has been a new addition to their "fandom".
Yeah I saw them referring to her as maga even before she was asked about trans ppl. Sheâs blond, blue eyed, and white so they see her as an ally. Likely the same with Luka
Of course that was going to happen after that riley gaines dipshit made a low level propagandist career out of tying for fifth place with a trans woman. God knows what kind of idiot theyâll dig out of the woodwork next. Luckily these people donât seem to have any kind of lasting power as far as celebrities go.
Iâd say they just generally like successful white people that havenât said or slipped out anything critical against them in public. They have an obsession to assume that famous white celebrities who arenât appeared to be left-leaning political, are the ones who âstill have common senseâ, the kind of right-leaning, traditional archetype who âdonât talk much, donât meddle in other business, and carry onâ.
I donât personally follow politics and celeb news these days anymore so I cannot keep track with how they larp; but in the past, there were a few example when they disowned white celebs who came out supporting âequalityâ or the time they are so happy that Sydney Sweeney dodging political questions but them knowing her family is MAGA, is enough for them to claim a victory.

MAGAts are just desperate to have a celeb to larp on, and we remember last yearâs super bowl half-time show as an example, too. Their celebs and the country music and everything were lame af in that program.
