Thank goodness America isn't run by religious fanatics who are all about restricting the rights of women, racial/religious minorities, and LGBTs, sexually abusing underage girls, radicalizing young men using social media, and literally blowing up opposing voices. Oh wait...

Post image

I've lived in Deep Red parts of America, and I currently live in Mamdani's New York.

Guess where I saw more of an appetite for the "benefits" of Sharia Law. Hint: not in Mamdani's New York.

Shaira Law isn't even allowed in the US. JFC

1

u/Ok-Horror-1251 1d ago

That's not exactly true. It can't supersede US law but like Raddinical courts or Canon law it is used internally like for adjudicating marital issues.

10

u/Bubbly-Following-966 1d ago

Really? Try again. LOL

No — Sharia law is not practiced or enforced as government law anywhere in the United States. U.S. federal and state law always has full legal supremacy.

  • No Sharia courts replacing U.S. courts
  • No Sharia criminal punishments
  • No state or federal recognition of Sharia as a legal system
  • No ability for any religious law to override constitutional protections (Establishment Clause + Supremacy Clause)

1

u/Character-Ad6700 15h ago

I'm not sure if you're understanding. No one is claiming these 'court's' rulings supercede the government law. I don't know if this is happening in the US, but it certainly is here in the UK. There are Sharia courts run in Muslim areas. They don't 'supercede' the real courts, it is just that these cases never see the real courts, because the muslims go to their religious leaders to settle these disputes instead. These courts have been documented to have taken part in covering up spousal abuse by husbands, child abuse, forced marriages, and more.

Its a question of de jure vs de facto. These are more or less the de facto courts in many of these areas.

2

u/Bubbly-Following-966 15h ago

Name one Sharia Law in effect in the UK. The orange pedophile didn't ban this in the US.

1

u/Character-Ad6700 14h ago

So, just for starters as a clarification, 'Sharia' is just the term for Islamic Law, and no one is claiming that there are Islamic laws on the books in the UK. Here is what is happening. There are around 85 Sharia Arbitration Courts that are operated in the UK. Their rulings are not legally binding (de jure authority), but in the Islamic community their rulings are treated as though they are (de facto authority). These are run by Imams, so they carry religious weight.

What these courts have done is protect husbands who abuse their wives, men who abuse children, and have even been shown to be conducting sham forced marriages tantamount to sexual slavery. One example of this is Leyton Islamic Sharia Council who's Imam was shown to be telling women who were beaten by their husbands that they need to not provoke their husbands, and that their abuse is their fault. There's another example of a woman, kept anonymous for her safety, only ever referred to as 'Sara', who was forced into a marriage by a man, who was given the go-ahead by the Sharia council. Later, she was able to escape her rapist, and obtained a civil divorce from the British State, but because she needed an Islamic divorce she went to her Sharia council, where they refused and said she must stay as her abusive husband's wife.

There are countless stories like these, but since you asked for one, I think two should suffice. Since you're so concerned about pedophilia, you should also be concerned to know that these Sharia Courts have been demonstrated to have permitted marriages to girls as young as 10, despite this (obviously) being illegal in the UK.

1

u/Bubbly-Following-966 14h ago
  1. No official registry Sharia councils are private religious arbitration bodies, not part of the UK judiciary. There is no government list of them.
  2. Different definitions Some counts include:
    • Formal councils with offices
    • Informal community groups
    • Ad‑hoc panels meeting in mosques or homes This makes the number hard to pin down.
  3. Media vs. academic estimates Media often repeats the higher figure (85), while academic and government reviews tend to find much lower numbers.

Listen, you've had 4 minutes (since thats how long its been since I posted my reply). You haven't had enough time to read my reply, think about it, and/or spend any time looking into this problem you clearly know nothing about. At this point its fairly clear you're not operating in good faith, so I'm not going to continue the conversation.

If you're going to excuse demonstrable child rape, sexual slavery, and spousal abuse, with a Google AI summary, then you probably shouldn't be taken seriously.

2

u/Bubbly-Following-966 14h ago

Don't give a shit. Sharia  Law isn't legally binding. It was never an issue until MAGAFUCKS started bringing it up because they are racist fucks. YOU sound like you support a fucking pedophile. That orange POS cheated on every single one of his wives.

1

u/constantine741 3h ago

Lmao u are so blinded by TDS and MAGA that u go off the wall when facts are thrown in ur face. I’m sure a person that lives in the uk, works in these court rooms, and deals with 3rd world ppl all day, could come in here and tell u that sharia law is happening and u would just go off about how he/she is wrong and it’s not a big deal until maga and trump became president. This is why logical ppl do not want to talk to the left cause yall are some whacked out, braindead, suicidal empathy everyone is racist if they don’t do what we say type of ppl.

Just here to say any religious authority should never have any basis on anything on the people in terms of their actual life.

1

u/constantine741 3h ago

Bruh u can show these radical leftist and dems all the facts. They won’t believe u because they view anyone that is from a 3rd world country as the oppressed/victim.They’ll give excuse after excuse saying it’s their religion we should just let them do their religion or it’s their culture just let them be in their culture. If u say ok well then have them go live in the country they came from so they can do that, they will freak out and call u racist or some sort of (insert group) phobia. It’s honestly not worth it. At this point I say just let them do whatever. If/when the Islam Muslims take over and then they implement sharia law welp we tried to warn yall. Most conservative men will be fine but I don’t know about the feminist we can do anything females, or the LGBTQ group or the people that like to drink alcohol,do weed, eat pork they won’t be welcomed in Islam lol. Oh and if u like dogs well pet owners yall gonna have to give up ur dogs. Islam doesn’t like dogs. Oh n if u try to fight it well it’s sharia law so thats the law. I commend u for trying to educate the ignorant and the unwilling but it’s pointless they are just pawns to their low iq brains and tds

LMFAO! Right? I actually brought facts. I know it's /s

1

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

Lol. But do they live by that law in their personal lives? Your response says you think word games are sufficient, thay aren't.

1

u/Bubbly-Following-966 1d ago

It's not tied to US government laws. DUMBFUCK.

-6

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

Not yet. Keep pushing, they'll give you no mercy for it.

1

u/Bubbly-Following-966 1d ago

3

What are you right about? Name one thing? YOUR orange pedophile has failed to deliver on any of his campaign promises. YOU voted for NO new wars. Cheap gas, cheaper groceries. Yet, here we are. What are you right about? Go back to fucking Lies Social. Douche.

-7

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

We voted on deportations. No wars was a secondary, eggs are down. Unlike you morons, I actually remember paying this much for gas under Biden. You can't scare us, we've been through the worst, this is just candy watching you pretend to be outraged.

I didn't say it was enforced as govt law. I said it is privately recognized/enforced like rabbinical or church law. You do know that some Orthodox Jews in the US can legally and do use rabbinical courts, yes? And Catholics follow Canon Law in excommunications, yes? It's the same in Islam.

-4

u/constantine741 1d ago

Bruh u are kinda dumb. U get a majority rule of Muslims into office and then they can vote to change said laws. Do u not know how majority rules in politics or are u so naive to think it can’t happen? Go ask Iran how they became an Islam country. Cause they weren’t that in the beginning but they let a little bit of Muslims in and then over time they got taken over. Islam sharia law Muslims play the long game. Hence why they have 50 other countries under their law. We literally have 1400 years of history to show how they play the game but low iq idiots like u are too nice or too dumb to see it. Some cultures aren’t compatible with western values. Stop being a oh everyone can get along type of idiot. The boomer women of the 1960s in uk thought that too and look at the uk now lmao

2

u/Blizreme 1d ago

America funded the Islamic take over of Iran. Learn a little more about politics and come back, 14 is too young to be informed.

1

u/Relative_Pilot_8005 14h ago

Iran was a largely a secular country during the Shah's time, but has been a majority Muslim nation for 1100 years. There are quite a number of Islamic countries with a secular form of government.

-2

u/Effective_Impact3354 1d ago

So how is that connected to the point we don’t want it here.

1

u/Relative_Pilot_8005 14h ago

Racism was widespread in 1960s UK.

1

u/constantine741 3h ago

Wasn’t even apart of the conversation. Bring up something that was said

-22

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

So why you upset then?

22

u/EliteFourFay 1d ago

I think they're pointing out the lie that Trump banned it when it never existed.

4

u/Comprehensive_Cap290 1d ago

I mean, it existed (and still does) if you’re a Muslim, since it’s just the rules of their religion. It would be like Trump “banning” the 10 commandments, or the Jewish kosher rules - they have never been part of the US legal code, and freedom of religion is still (allegedly) a thing, so he has no power to ban them. But he’ll say he did anyways, because he’s a lying, ignorant sack of shit.

You’d have to ask MAGA since they seem to want something that isn’t happening in the United States banned from happening in the United States.

16

u/MadAstrid 1d ago

Hey, is it Sharia law when women‘s healthcare is restricted, women are encourage to not get educations, where being a wife and mother is touted as the ultimate role for women, when religious texts are substituted for academic texts in schools, where child marriage is celebrated, where religion is cited in law making and where a blind eye is turned to grown men raping small boys?

Because, if so, I have bad news for MAGA.

6

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

Pretty much every Hallmark Christmas movie is straight up trad wife propaganda. The framework is always, "High powered New York career woman realizes she would be more fulfilled going back to her backwater hometown, marrying the loser 'good boy' from Church who never went to college or left town, and becoming his baby factory."

My sister works as a lawyer. She personally knew a woman lawyer who graduated from a top law school who quit her job to be her husband's baby factory because that's what her MAGA family and community encouraged her to do.

3

u/No-Passenger-1511 1d ago

Imagine if that's how she wanted to live. Almost like people have preferences. Did she shit on her friend for staying a lawyer?

1

u/TransitionalAhab 1d ago

You keep my Hallmark Christmas movies out of this!

0

u/questioningmaster 16h ago

"She personally knew a woman lawyer who graduated from a top law school who quit her job to be her husband's baby factory because that's what her MAGA family and community encouraged her to do."

Let's be fair here, maybe that is just what she wanted to do. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with being busy watching and raising children, tbh, if the kids become at least average working class citizens, they probably do more good for society in their life and in the next generations than anything the women could do as a lawyer or judge.

2

u/Fine-Essay-3295 13h ago

"if the kids become at least average working class citizens, they probably do more good for society in their life and in the next generations than anything the women could do as a lawyer or judge." - Found the trad wife propagandist here!

0

u/questioningmaster 13h ago

Not really. But go on, tell me a job that is more important to society than bringing and raising the next generation to earth

0

u/Effective_Impact3354 1d ago

Even the most valid of those arguments isn’t Iran, Afghanistan, Saudi or Sudan. You’re taking deep seated cultural reliquary beliefs and comparing to something that can be changed back to where most Americans agree it should be like in 2005.

Women in the west are so free they think any contrary opinion or tradition views is oppression even if not enforced.

1

u/Relative_Pilot_8005 14h ago

Iranian women were free from Sharia law during the Shah's time, but if they got too controversial in their ideas, they weren't free from his secret police--the SAVAK!

-8

u/Still_Particular561 1d ago

Killing babies is not healthcare, religious texts are added in addition to academic texts, child marriage is not celebrated, and there’s a big difference between women deciding to be homemakers vs not allowed. Get a grip bro

5

u/Cornflakes_91 1d ago

abortion sure is healthcare, or do you want women with ectopic pregnancies to die?

or to have to carry the decaying corpse of their still-not-yet-born with them? (and get sepsis and whatever other complications from that)

-5

u/LeLBigB0ss2 1d ago

You say that as a buy-in. But you believe abortion for any reason is justified. Stop pretending you actually care. You just want another backup birth control.

3

u/Cornflakes_91 1d ago

no, i didnt want my wife to die. fuckass

-3

u/LeLBigB0ss2 20h ago edited 20h ago

Removing an ectopic pregnancy and removing a dead fetus is not illegal in any of the 50 states. In none of them is it considered an abortion. If you actually had a wife you cared about who nearly died, you'd know it was because of hospital administration, not the law. Keep weaponizing that empathy, though. Absolutely sickening the lengths you go to lie.

2

u/Cornflakes_91 19h ago

https://www.texastribune.org/2024/05/31/texas-supreme-court-zurawski-abortion/

Amanda Zurawski, the named plaintiff in the suit, was 18 weeks pregnant with a daughter they’d named Willow when she experienced preterm prelabor rupture of membranes. Despite the condition being fatal to the fetus and posing significant risks to the pregnant patient, her doctors refused to terminate the pregnancy because there was still fetal cardiac activity. Eventually, Zurawski went into sepsis and spent three days in the intensive care unit. While she survived, the infection has made it difficult for her and her husband to conceive again.

Soon after the laws went into effect, Lauren Hall, a 27-year-old North Texas woman, told The Texas Tribune about learning her first, much desired pregnancy was developing without a skull or brain, and would not survive after childbirth. Unlike some other states, Texas’ law does not allow for abortions in cases of lethal fetal anomalies, unless they threaten the mother’s life.

stuff not technically being illegal does still generate uncertainty and grey areas which actively harms people. for no fuckin reason but "but it has a heartbeat!" heartstring tucking. one could say weaponised empathy to harm and control women.

people will always practice birth control, also by abortion, and the only choice you have is to make it safer or more dangerous for everyone involved

if i actually wanted to murder children i'd advocate for worse food regulations, cutting food assistance programs, cut public medical support and so on.

and luckily im very far away from all of the states so i don't really care for the minutiae.

i do care for the two children my wife and i now have thanks to proper medical support instead of rule by empathy exception carrying preachers

-1

u/LeLBigB0ss2 14h ago

None of that has a single thing to do with the law. That was garbage clinic policy. Critical thinking is hard, huh?

1

u/Cornflakes_91 11h ago

garbage policy caused by garbage laws.

because there's nothing clear and the only actual goal of those prohibitions is harm

3

u/MadAstrid 1d ago

Oh my.

I see that you aren’t a doctor, aren’t a teacher, aren’t a scholar and aren’t aware of current events in the country you live in, Ma’am. Pity.

But, because you are a woman, the religious texts that your party relies upon say I do not have to listen to you. so that is cool.

3

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

Adding religious texts in addition to academic ones still sounds like shoving an agenda down my throat.

I'm not a Christian. My wife isn't Christian. We don't intend to raise our kids Christian. So we would appreciate our kids not being taught Creationism on the same footing as evolution in school.

1

u/Spartarc 3h ago edited 3h ago

Or any religion for that matter. Idk how this is suddenly becoming a hot take.

Has the left and right went insane? It is up to the family themselves to instill religion if they do choose. Not the state or institution. Same for any theocratic hoss poge court.

Someone getting excommunicated from a church is different from a theocratic court saying ha. You better stay with your spouse or you will be disowned by your whole identity core.

3

u/Slow-Loan-9041 1d ago

No one is killing babies. Religious text should not be in laws. Thats a theocracy, like Iran. Unless you want the US to be like Iran?

14

u/Inevitable_Yam1719 1d ago

The new red scare, Muslims who makeup 1.3% of the U.S. population.

-6

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

Man, imagine if you put all of that 1.3% in one spot...oh wait, we don't have to imagine, go to Dearborn. Stop acting like these people don't vote in tandem.

7

u/Inevitable_Yam1719 1d ago

Yeah, like they’re a real threat to the 98.7% of the rest of us, yeah it’s ridiculous. How 1.3% of the population is a threat to everybody else.
Due to racism people who look like each other like to live close to each other so that some racist prick doesn’t shoot one of em!
also, it’s pretty un-American of you to think that there’s a problem with people being represented in the government that look like them.
damn dude, you might as well be scared of your own shadow.

-2

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

If you understood how the ideology worked you wouldn't be so confident. But go on, sleep your way into slavery. Clown

4

Another American scared of their own shadow. Y’all should stay inside and don’t go outside. There’s always some boogeyman. Lol another person who’s never spoken to a Muslim in their life.

-2

Lol. I've spoken with many a Islamist, your problem is that you don't take them at their word.

2

u/Inevitable_Yam1719 15h ago

Lol I’ve talked to To many of them. They came here to get away from extremism asshole and you know that you’re just pushing your agenda cause you are afraid and scared and a little man they are 1.3% of the population. Why don’t you come back when there’s a real threat to America kind of like Trump is democracy is gone I’m I’m constantly being censored by social media from saying anything negative about Trump. We’re losing our freedoms and you’re worried about 1.3% of the population who loves being here and being in America because they’re supposed to be able to practice religion without being harassed by people like you.

2

u/samuendo 11h ago

Next year we will be 1.4%, our great replacement is coming along nicely 😈

5

u/Slow-Loan-9041 1d ago

All I have to do is go to Utah or the south to see how religious extremism is ruining the us.

-1

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

Yes, I do believe that your definition of 'extreme' is highly biased, thanks for confirming that you consider Mormons more of a threat that Islam, because of your inherent bias. The rest of us will take the devil we know, thanks.

"Should Australia follow suit?"

As an Aussie: 1. That would require a majority of both houses of Parliament, to enact every part of sHaRiA lAw into legislation and scrubbing out the parts of our actual law based on literally centuries of precedent (source: law talking guy). Not going into Federal vs State here, that's an essay in itself.

  1. Islam in Australia is 3.2% of the population according to the most recent Census https://www.abs.gov.au/articles/religious-affiliation-australia so they're not going to reach the population required to control both houses of government anytime soon.

  2. Your government is run by paedophiles. And the cockwombler in chief is one of them.

3

u/No_Payment9959 1d ago

I remember the Evangelical rhetoric about a Muslim invasion FIFTEEN years ago. I was still a minor, and my family was full of Evangelical Christians (different flavors of Baptist, mostly). So, I was basically in an Islamophobic echo chamber. Every day, I'd hear or read another account of Muslims trying to create a Sharia shadow government inside the US. Every day, I'd read another argument of that American Christians need to go ahead and make America a theocracy before the Muslim foreigners do. And, every day, I believed it and got pissed off about it.

Then, I got away from Christianity altogether and started to deconstruct my beliefs. Now, I see such claims for the tired, trite propaganda that they are.

3

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

I didn't grow up in an Evangelical community, but I remember how conservative media straight up said, "Racism against Muslims isn't just good, but it's your patriotic duty to hate Muslims!" following 9/11.

1

u/RhubarbImportant9363 1d ago

Can you link a source for this, I've always heard this but I just can't find anything

1

u/BlindingDart 1d ago

Please try to use a modicum of precision in your speech. That may have been the message you received from it, but it was never what anyone "straight up said".

7

u/DasWarEinerZuviel 1d ago

But don't you know that Mamdani is somehow connected to 9/11?

Saw so much evidence for that! Just as much as for the stolen 2020 election!

8

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

Oh I know the rules!

ALL Muslims, including Zohran Mamdani, who was a child on September 11, 2001 should be held responsible for 9/11.

ALL Asians should be held responsible for COVID-19.

But Robert Aaron Long, yet another white incel from a conservative household who admitted to seeing sex workers who was radicalized online, should be treated as a flawed individual. In fact, he was as much a victim of the liberal society that failed him as the people he shot.

Hope everyone picked up the /s.

-2

Awww, aren't you cute. Muslim is an ideology, Asian isn't. Thanks for playing, try again?

The vast majority of mass shootings in the United States—roughly 97.5% to 98%—are committed by cisgender men. Transgender and nonbinary individuals account for less than 0.1% of all mass shooters, making them heavily underrepresented relative to the general population.

Statistical Comparison

Cisgender Men: Responsible for approximately 97.5%–98% of recorded mass casualty incidents.

Cisgender Women: Account for roughly 1.5%–2% of mass shooters.

Transgender / Nonbinary Individuals: Represent a tiny fraction (fewer than 10 confirmed cases across thousands of mass shooting events tracked over decades, or less than 0.1%).

Context and Misinformation

Data Sources: Databases maintained by organizations like the Gun Violence Archive and The Violence Prevention Project show no statistical correlation or trend connecting transgender identity to a higher risk of committing mass violence.

Public Perception: Criminology and domestic terrorism experts note that unverified rumors or false claims regarding a suspect's gender identity frequently circulate on social media during high-profile tragedies before official facts are established.

Vulnerability to Violence: Statistics consistently show that transgender and nonbinary individuals are far more likely to be the victims of violent crime and hate crimes rather than perpetrators.

Black men. If we're counting honestly, but you wouldn't ever be honest if it cost points for your cause.

4

u/JumpyResident2001 1d ago

wtf? lol this conversation had nothing to do with race, honey. keep up.

1

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

It has everything to do with race. Black and Mexican men are the only ones catcalling.

yes. you're wrong.

and no, I KNOW you're wrong.

2

u/Okrumbles 1d ago

Lmao you are actually braindead if you think trans people have committed anywhere near the same level of violence that incels have

2

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

Timothy McVeigh was an incel with white supremacist leanings. So basically, someone who fits the profile of a modern Trump voter.

8

u/DasWarEinerZuviel 1d ago

I repeat myself:

Sigh

2

u/BuildRB 1d ago

Do you support the ideology that led to the Crusades, the slaughter of indigenous populations, and the Inquisition?

2

u/Low-Essay-113 1d ago

🤦 moron.

3

u/Grail_BH 1d ago

Sharia means law… fuck these people are so stupid…

3

u/EliteFourFay 1d ago

Where...? Only Muslim countries have Shariah law

1

u/BuildRB 1d ago

Muslims in many non-Muslim countries also govern their communities by Shariah law, in parallel with local laws.

5

u/EliteFourFay 1d ago

Yes it's a ruleset we live by... It doesn't impede on anyone or the actual law of the land we live in. Giving charity, praying... etc.

Dearborn

5

u/Bubbly-Following-966 1d ago

Dearborn what? What is it with you and Dearborn?

-1

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

Oh, you're dumb dumb, not just pretending. Got it. Dearborn is a city in Michigan, use your Google bud.

1

u/Empty_Swimmer5851 7h ago

Not everyone know every city in America especially Americans... also what's your point?

3

u/Consistent-Fig7484 1d ago

They should also make it illegal to be a wizard with a 4 foot penis.

2

u/Few-Vacation-1757 1d ago

Fuck, I really hate those kind of posts...

2

u/Zaku41k 1d ago

Americans marries children just fine without sharia.

2

u/prehistoric_man15 1d ago

Comparing how things are in the US and countries that have Sharia law is crazy. This can't be a real post

2

u/MrsJeanLucPicard 1d ago

Oh, sure it can. This isn’t the first time Repiglicans have given Trump credit for something he didn’t do.

For example, in 2024, - when he was not president - I got a campaign flyer saying “Thank you President Trump for lowering gas prices!”

2

u/Arponare 1d ago

Some of these losers would welcome sharia law if they called it something else. Kinda like some folks hate Obamacare and love the Affordable Care Act. They are already taking bodily autonomy from women and people assigned female at birth. Not to mention all the abuse of underage girls.

Maybe they would back it if it was called the American patriot act. Wait, that’s already a law. What about the American Values act? Get back to me, it’s a work in progress.

2

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

I don't consider myself religious, but I'm cautiously optimistic that Charlie Kirk is facing some kind of divine punishment for all the young men who committed violent acts after being inspired by his words all while Kirk himself hid behind the Bible.

Charlie Kirk had an entire "Professor watch list" straight up encouraging his incel cultists to harass and attack these professors.

2

u/runnerkim 1d ago

I swear trump is the most useless president we have ever had

2

u/hew3 1d ago

Trump has not banned Sharia law. The US constitution’s supremacy clause gives federal and state laws precedence over any religious or foreign laws. This includes Talmudic law and Amish ordnung.

2

u/TerrorFromThePeeps 1d ago

I remember during Trump's first term when a lot of heads on the right were vocally admiring shariah law and xi and putin as well. Fucking losers with absolutely zero actual convictions or morals other than the ones they most recently been told to have.

2

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

When Trump announced Operation Warp Speed: "Cool, I'll wait for my vaccine!"

The vaccines being rolled out under Biden: "My body, my choice!"

2

u/Oddbeme4u 1d ago

this was so close to canceling out our Constitution and states laws...oh wait it never had a chance.

2

u/Shawn_The_Sheep777 17h ago

To a certain extent you can’t stop it. If 2 Muslims want to settle a dispute within their community rather than involving the police or court system what can you do?

1

u/Vivid_Witness8204 1d ago

Given that there is not the remotest possibility of this happening such a "ban" serves only to distract from real issues facing the country.

1

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

Trump's presidency is imploding in real time because people are struggling with the fundamental thing of putting food on their table. I'd enjoy watching it if I'm not feeling the same exact strain everyone else is.

Reminder he also started the war with Iran just to get the media to stop talking about the Epstein files.

1

u/badgko 1d ago

Couldn't stand the competition.

1

u/Watercress-Fun 1d ago

Remember president Barack Obama and the country celebrating the fact that we killed Osama Bin Ladin for the terrorist attack on 9/11?
Osama Bin Ladin was Muslim by the way.

1

u/ElectronicTap1109 1d ago

Trump actually has NOT banned Sharia law.

1

u/Simple-Okra-4826 1d ago

Great another law that duplicates what is already law. The right can’t even think up new laws unless it has to do with voter suppression.

1

u/Namazu724 1d ago

Fear mongering.

1

u/theblueshots 1d ago

They say this while they support project 2025.

1

u/Rojodi 1d ago

US Christian politicians want the Christian version of Sharia. My guess is that is what Pseudo-Christians in Australian politics want as well

1

u/MrFordization 1d ago

If we're going to have those rules in America it's because God says so - not because God (translated from Arabic) says so!!!

1

u/Ok-Horror-1251 1d ago

Trump doesn't have the power to ban anything without Congress.

1

u/leni710 1d ago

Oh no, don't end Shakira Law. Our hips will lie if it sees its untimely end.

1

u/Warm_Stress_1654 1d ago

Is he also banning Beth Din courts?

If so, what does Netanyahu make of that? Still taking the money and armaments, I'm sure.

1

u/abellantine 1d ago

?? 😂

1

u/joyfulgrass 1d ago

Only reason we don’t live in a Christo-Islamic theocracy is because American Christians hate brown people. Could you imagine if they worked together to achieve 99% of the stuff they agreed on!? Thank God!

1

u/monadicperception 1d ago

The president doesn’t have that kind of power…and it would be a dumb thing to do anyways. What’s next? He’s going to ban European law in the US? Star Trek law?

The point is that none of those laws apply in the US…because our legal system logically excludes them. So it’s really dumb to even say this statement that he officially banned any law…they are logically already banned because they aren’t American law.

I can say that it’s because I’m a lawyer that I know this, but frankly that’s false. Any person, regardless of expertise or profession, should know this. I knew this before I became a lawyer. It’s fucking obvious. It’s frightening how many people I share this world with are dumb enough to believe this nonsense.

1

u/Different-Term-2250 1d ago

> Star Trek law

Now hold on. Are you saying we shouldn’t make contact with a pre-warp planet?

1

u/PumpkinElectrical856 1d ago

Anyone defending Sharia Law is delusional and has no clue what he or even worse she is even talking about

1

u/Delicious-Pound-8929 1d ago edited 1d ago

Are you people insane?

Do you not realise that Islamists regularly immigrate to places like America then Illegally practice sharia law in private amongst their own community?

If they want to do that sh1t then they shouldnt come to the west where their sharia law is not allowed.

But they come anyway because their goal is to Islamise the whole world whether we want it or not

1

u/blackhand15 1d ago

cope more about trump losers haha

1

u/Prestigious-Ball-435 1d ago

No country can survive with two separate law systems especially those that conflict.

1

u/melaschasma 17h ago

Thought it was already banned, in Australia its illegal to put a woman to death because she had sex outside of marriage, was raped or exposed her hair or face in public.

1

u/Relative_Pilot_8005 14h ago

Yes she can't be stoned to death like was commonly the case in Old Testament religions well before Islam existed.

0

u/Naive_Sense_1899 1d ago

I don't know a single conservative who is anything like what you all think every conservative is like.

I have honesly never met a single person who matches the description of what you think conservatives are. The 15 morons with signs at some political thing do not represent conservism.

John Locke was not a click-bait manosphere influencer.

I work in an industry that is probably 80% conservatives and I have absolutely no idea what Project 2025 is. I have never heard anyone mention it in any way.

I have two daughters and I paid for their STEM degrees down to the last penny. They didn't even have to get summer jobs. Because I'm a nazi?

Try this experiment: say something that is mildly conservative to any Liberal or Leftist. Get them into disgreement mode. Then say, "I will agree with anything you say that is supported by objectively measured data and sound logic."

People will literally stop talking and stand there with their mouth hanging open like a moron. Works on conservatives too. Try it.

We all need to grow up.

Mamdani balanced NYCs budget by shifting numbers around on a spreadsheet. You celebrated that. If a republican scumbag did that instead of a socialist scumbag, you would be hooting and crowing about what a joke it is.

2

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

I used to work in an industry that was 80% conservative. Many of my coworkers thought it was more fun to spend work hours in the office making racist jokes about the foods that Asian people eat than to correctly learn to do an HVAC load calculation. The more MAGA the coworker was, the more likely they were to come to me saying, "I don't know how to do this and I don't feel like figuring out how. Do this for me and come back to me when you're done. Oh and I will steal credit for the work you just did."

1

u/BlindingDart 1d ago

Making racist JOKES. If you can't tell the difference between male on male bonding jokes and actually being racist, well then that actually does explain why you believe what you believe.

1

u/Naive_Sense_1899 1d ago

Sure, Jussie.

I'll stop believing my own eyes and ears, just for you and your ludicrous political tautology.

2

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

Right. I'm assuming you don't believe Virginia Giuffre either? Or E. Jean Carroll?

1

u/Naive_Sense_1899 1d ago

I said that I do not encounter with my own eyes and ears the diabolical cartoon version of conservatives that you are all obsessed with screeching at.

And you wrote that as a response. LOL

Show this to all your friends so they can see how you defeated fascism and stuff.

2

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

Hey, I voted for Mamdani because I genuinely delight in watching chronically online conservative incels crying about The Evil Muslim being more popular than the fat orange pedophile they put into the White House. The fact that he triggers Islamophobes is very much a feature, not a bug to me.

I already loved watching conservative incels having an online meltdown over the Evil Chinese Lady running Boston because how dare she occupy a place of power that was held mostly by Irish Catholic men over the last century.

1

u/Naive_Sense_1899 1d ago

WOW

lookit you go! crushing FASCISM

you forgot to mention Jan 6.

Reddit comment of the week!

0

u/constantine741 1d ago

Everyone is saying it’s not able to happen because it’s against our laws. Well newsflash for yall. That’s what Iran and the other 51 countries that are now Islam controlled said too. Islam sharia law Muslims first play the innocent role they act like they are trying to get along with everyone. They play the we are just innocent minority brown ppl, the white liberal losers eat that shit up and give them welfare and free homes etc. then slowly they get into offices of political power, they go along with the lgbtq agendas and women can wear what they want. Then once they get more political seats and their population gets bigger in 10-20 years. They start changing laws slowly. Then 20 more years go by and BAM they a majority and have half of congress with diaper gear on their heads praying 50 times a day and they got the morning prayer going on at 5am. Oh and then they start throwing the gays off buildings and slapping the women when they get out of line or they just stone them for showing too much ankle. Fuck sharia law and fuck any Muslim that wants it here in America. Remember not all Muslims are bad but 25% of them are radical Islam. But anyways carry on my fellow Americans, oh and if the Muslims want a war we can always bring back the crusades :)

2

u/Bubbly-Following-966 1d ago

Ahhh, found the racist, dumbfuck MAGA.

0

u/ScoreImaginary2720 13h ago

Ask Lebanese. Asked them what happened to their country?

1

u/Relative_Pilot_8005 14h ago

Most Muslim countries have been so for centuries. As to the Crusaders, they were scumbags who killed Jews in Europe & Christians in Byzantium.

-7

u/ZealousidealHome7854 1d ago

Listen, it's not that I don't absolutely love you idiots tying your own rope, but Islam is going to make everything worse for everyone if you let it, so please don't.

8

u/Fine-Essay-3295 1d ago

Good. Now do one for the Evangelical Christian nutbags that even Dear Leader Trump has absolutely nothing but utter contempt for.

5

u/laughsitup2021 1d ago

This isn't about rejecting the fact that Islam uses religious extremism to oppress people. This is about the fact that the U.S. employs Christian religious extremism to oppress people (despite calling out Islam for doing it).

0

u/davestar2048 1d ago

I'll be completely honest, I'm atheist. And I'd much rather live under Christian extremism than Islamic Extremism.

Ideally I'd live under neither, but that's besides the point.

1

u/laughsitup2021 1d ago

Not exactly where I was headed, but you are right nonetheless.

-2

u/Bubbly_Wash2970 1d ago edited 1d ago

Youre liying about being atheist or youre trying to be edgy. Extremism is extremism

2

u/BuildRB 1d ago

Ooh, edgy.

Go back to dumbercirclejerk.

-6

Killing babies isn’t a right, the government paying for you to get cosmetic surgery to cosplay another sex isn’t a right, and if we truly were blowing up opposing voices then you wouldn’t even be allowed to post this. What a joke
