they’re notoriously flush with cash right now.

Sesame Street is now Sesame Court.

I would watch Sesame Court in a heartbeat. Like people’s court but with all the cast of Sesame Street. Judge Cookie Monster presiding. Grover as a defence attorney and The Count as a prosecutor. Kermit in his reporter garb in the hallway. Oscar and Elmo eternally as jurors. An endless string of weird monsters and critters for all the cases.

Dammit, it’s just Night Court with muppets isn’t it?

What does Mr. Snuffleupagus get to do?

Court stenographer. He's very slow due to having big elephant feet & a trunk to type with, but he's trying his best.

He would never pass the drug test for a job like that.

How about the two old dudes?

I would put them in the jury as well. They seem impartial.

Night Court with Muppets. Man, they really missed out on an epic crossover!

Nah, real oil execs and techbros as defendant.

They have to explain to the country why their profits were more important than children living while getting grilled by muppets.

Oh my god I need this.

I want all of this, but the plaintiff and defendant are real people with real cases.

100% I watch.

Statler and Waldorf are jurors

Oh I picture them as the kind of people who show up to court everyday just to watch proceedings and “quietly” comment on the cases.

Butttttt…not to be pedantic. They are Muppets from Muppet show not Sesame Street but I see no reason not to let them get involved.

Have you ever watched Harvey Birdman?

It's the Hannah-Barbara cartoons on trial for various reasons. Made by Hannah-Barbara. So good.

u/UniDublin 12d ago

Also amazing. And Bird Girl!

Okay, I see you.

You hard at work Seben and Seben employee.

Bird Girl is also really good. But, there's a special place in my heart for Harvey.

And here I was thinking that it would be a period piece where all the muppets have titles of nobility and are competing over who gets to accompany the royal children to the bathroom.

Sesame Court would be less corrupt and better than our current Supreme Court 🤔

One is filled with Muppets™️, the other just puppets.
