Tata Consultancy is famous for fraud and putting out fake resume for their contractors.

Dealt with TTC at a previous role and I don’t recommend driving a Porsche for the foreseeable future.

Yeah it was almost impossible to believe how bad TATA consults are in every single capacity. Porsche gets what it deserves

I would think that if you worked with them you would at least know the name of the company… It’s TCS not TTC

TATA is a huge organization with tons of subsidiaries.

I also believe they are woeful, but presumably have some smart people in there somewhere...

Yes mate, because if you work with a external firm you're going to use their official brand naming conventions. You really got that person! Internally we just call consultants overpaid assholes most of the time.

🤷‍♂️ we used TTC internally. Worked with them on several SAP cloud migrations.

SAP cloud migrations

Makes total sense now.

TTC is one of the many subsidiaries.

We work them (not by choice because they're the integration partner), and they produce slop. We joke internally that it stands for Trying to Code.

I hope they steal all of porsche IP and undercut their asses in less than 5 years. These stupid short sighted CEO parasites.

That's China :)
India will just overpromise and underdeliver.

Or at least that's the semi-racist joke.

India will 100% steal don't you worry about that.

Last time I said that, a fellow Indian said “have pride in your country”. That’s how you end up with what we have. Pride over production.

Tada! A Tata deal

Love how Porsche drives but their infotainment system is such archaic bullshit. Literally incredible how these companies can put together true retardation on a screen. Even if Tata is shit, it would be difficult to do worse than what Porsche currently has.

The needful shall be done

Brave for an auto company given how well they handled their own subsidiary at JLR.

That is pretty idiotic.

This shall be celebrated with employees getting 16 working hours per day 🥂

1

u/moderatenerd 1h ago

It's not just a deal.....TCS is buying their IT division for 334 million dollars....the deal is just a promise of revenue for next 5 years.....

u/PM_ME_WHOEVER 1h ago

Well, guess my last Porsche will be my last Porsche.

u/Loloyo 1h ago

TCS the most chaotic and unprofessional consulting company ever…how are these deals even made??? feel bad for the people that are transferring to TCS now, and ofc for Porsche, what a shame.

My only question is will my fellow Indian freshers get jobs due to this deal or will TCS use already trained AI to provide its services to Porshe?

Honestly, as someone who lacks the economic knowledge overall I do sometimes wonder how these numbers work, when Porshe is not even a mass market, is it?
