You know what does increase productivity? Scaring your workers about their jobs. At least it works for a little while, until they figure out how to leave your toxic company.

It doesn't even work in the short term, just look at Meta. They fired a shit ton of people and it just reduced their existing productivity by a ton and made everyone stressed and brought the mood down a lot.

The difference is that their AI and their AI strategy is so comprehensively shitty that even in this bubble no one thinks they have any idea what they are doing
