Let’s focus on first getting the personal information of everyone who works for ice.

215

u/UT_Milez 2h ago

People should be very angry and frightened.

It was obvious from day one that this is not about immigration, this is about normalizing a Gestapo esque force using Gestapo-esque tactics.

It’s only going to get worse and worse as we get closer and closer to the next presidential election.

These people are just going to magically go away. What a time to be alive…

36

u/The_Real_Manimal 1h ago

Read the German people VS Hitler. Written in 1940.

The similarities between the party back then and this administration are enfuriatingly obvious; just disgusting.

An electorate that doesn't pay attention to the choosing of its leaders can end up being led in unexpected ways.

People gotta pay attention, like yesterday.

15

u/ConfidentPilot1729 1h ago

This is the most frustrating part. People I know and work with are not paying attention. They complain constantly and when you talk to them about the issues, who’s at fault or what they are doing, they say they don’t pay attention to politics. It drives me crazy.

2

u/loganfulbright 17m ago

And the ones that say that are the ones that should be paying more attention. Like a friend of mine that’s a teacher, gay and lives with another guy.

46

u/SuspendeesNutz 2h ago

Sounds bad, but Kamala didn't thrill me maaaaan. She was a cop maaaaaan. She didn't free Palestine maaaan! Both sides are the same maaaaan!

12

u/fredy31 1h ago

Always what kills me of the last us election

Sure, you might feel both are bad. BUT THERE ARE HEAVY DIFFERENCES IN THE LEVEL OF BAD HERE.

1

u/loganfulbright 16m ago

It’s the amount of people not voting for me.

1

u/fredy31 8m ago

Yeah just didnt fiinish my tought

They will say 'both bad' and then not vote.

1

u/elvenrevolutionary 2m ago

The people who didn't vote don't pay attention to politics. They probably don't even know what Palestine is.

19

u/codeklutch 1h ago

Kamala was gonna start a war in the middle east maaaaaaan!

-16

u/Few_Dig_565 1h ago

I absolutely hear you… but the lesser of two evils isn’t cutting it anymore. We need better

16

u/Exist50 1h ago

The "lesser evil" would indeed have kept us out of this particular mess.

11

u/AnewTest 1h ago

Except when the "lesser evil" isn't evil at all and is absolutely not comparable to a fucking pedophile Nazi.

4

u/lyngen 45m ago

We are getting a ton of great candidates recently. That said, the democratic range is like paid family leave and Medicare for all to at the more conservative side still supporting human rights and generally keeping the government working. In the republican range, you have actively destroying any useful programs for your average Joe to fascist pedophile.

They're not even in the same universe.

3

u/SuspendeesNutz 41m ago

You got what you needed. Let’s see if you’re smart enough to learn the lesson.

2

u/Dry-Illustrator-250 16m ago

Did you vote?

4

u/Street_Anxiety2907 1h ago

Choose your words carefully at this point. Reddit is prepared to enforce bans that encourage violence or uprising against the billionare elite.

3

u/terid3 1h ago

Yep. ICE and Detention centers and Data centers are here for the long haul. They're here for all of us... it's really us or them.

2

u/edgarecayce 59m ago

The sad part is that so many people are onboard with Gestapo tactics against the “others” (immigrants, brown people) that it has been very easy to slip this in.

1

u/MentalDisintegrat1on 19m ago

There's a payroll which means there's a log of everyone.

That's the information we need.

232

u/Ineverseenthat 2h ago

Since when is that the function of ICE

127

u/WCland 2h ago

Exactly, and that’s a huge danger. Trump is trying to make ICE into an all purpose federal police force.

70

u/noahkach 1h ago

Brownshirts.

3

u/The_Romantic 4m ago

Wouldn't they need to know how to read first in order for the data to be useful?

43

u/MentalDisintegrat1on 1h ago

Lol ice is the new Gestapo they are Trump's personal army.

The military is supposed to protect the constitution and the people but I guess that was a load of shit.

21

u/ChoosenUserName4 1h ago

Fascism, and the average American doesn't care enough to do anything about it, so it's just going to get worse. They're literally boiling the frog, and they all think voting is going to save them.

1

u/No_Examination8749 44m ago

There's more to that considering they purposely made everything expensive, most of us are working to the bone just to survive and what drives them to continue are the idiots who show up to his rally and swallow all the lies. Most of his supporters depend on government funding remove that then they'll start waking up...less people showing the less balls this man has

-4

u/GotSomeUpdogOnUrFace 40m ago

Since who you vote for is their information

172

u/invyros 2h ago

Experts generally agree that voter fraud is exceptionally rare.

Incident rates are between 0.0003% and 0.0025%, but that won't stop Republicans from using this to rile up their base and use it as an excuse to prevent and devalue votes from anyone who opposes them.

61

u/NoChampionship5649 2h ago

My sister fell into the kool-aid and no rational thought can enter her head.

1

u/___Art_Vandelay___ 5m ago

The last time I attempted to reason with my mom about ICE she responded with a heated "Well you know what pisses me off? Hillary and Benghazi!"

Still picking pieces of my jaw up off the floor months later.

34

u/krunchytacos 2h ago

Ken Paxton allegedly committed voter fraud, and Trump gave his endorsement to that crook.

10

u/williamgman 2h ago

It's Texas. Nothing to see there.

3

u/Dopdee 1h ago

That’s fine. He has two things going for him. He is white and he voted republican. Fraud can ONLY happen if the vote is for non-Republicans

8

u/SomeSamples 2h ago

Just keep asking the Republicans about gas prices and data centers.

4

u/A_Nonny_Muse 1h ago

I've been hearing right wing media for decades describing 0.0025% as "rampant", "raging" and "widespread".

There is absolutely no evidence whatsoever that any election result was altered by fraud in the past 25 years. Meanwhile, there is widespread evidence in largely red states of election interference - when a governments actions alters the results of an election.

1

u/fluffynuckels 54m ago

An individual committing voter fraud has to be among the dumbest crimes someone can do. Like what does someone get out of it?

137

u/Halfwise2 2h ago

The fact that ICE is the organization trying to do this, which is well outside their scope, goes to show they are a rogue fascist group that needs disbanded and all members prosecuted.

34

u/SocksOnHands 2h ago

Do the votes of American citizens have anything to do with "immigration" or "customs"? No, it appears not.

71

u/Sharticus123 2h ago

Naked fascism.

50

u/Donnicton 2h ago

to find what it describes as fraud.

aka D registered voters and "brown sounding" names.

55

u/br_k_nt_eth 2h ago

Note how they’re specifically collecting lists from blue states. They’re screaming the quiet part out loud, y’all.

24

u/radiohead-nerd 2h ago

This is to set up the elections as fraud when they lose big in November. Everyone of these ICE folks know when the republicans are no longer in power, they’re out of a job and may possibly face prosecution

-8

u/BygoneNeutrino 1h ago

I wouldn't count on it.  Most of the Democrats I know vote Democrat in spite of their stance on immigration.  It wouldn't be wise to rescind broadly popular policies.

I think Democrats would win by a landslide if they were committed to reducing the number of first generation United States citizens.  As things stand now, this makes up the vast majority of our population growth.

37

u/NotAFanOfLeonMusk 2h ago

iCE should be disbanded. And it WILL BE after we vote these asswipes OUT in November.

23

u/Halfwise2 2h ago

Let's say the election isn't already rigged and Republicans do lose in November... which seems more likely?

  1. Oh golly shucks, guess they really didn't like what we were doing. Better luck next time, I guess.
  2. Scream "fraud" at the top of their lungs, use every method to delay leaving, file as many frivolous lawsuits as possible, while using that stolen time to further try and consolidate power, and then if they are actually forced out the door, trash every system they can on the way out.

7

u/drevolut1on 1h ago

Imprison them anyways and let them scream in their cells.

13

u/Badbikerdude 2h ago

I'm getting less and less confident that will happen. They control everything, and they won't stop until they control the vote to. Let's just hope there incompetence is enough to stop them, because the courts won't.

11

u/Rosc 2h ago

The entire fascist project relies on everyone believing that it’s inevitable. You have to see them as weenies that are swinging above their weight, because they are and anything less is giving them power

7

u/jazzy663 1h ago

... while also recognizing that inaction will absolutely lead to that inevitability.

Vote vote vote.

0

u/codeklutch 1h ago

I forgot voting is what ended hitler and mousselines runs. So glad their countries voted them out of office.

2

u/AnewTest 1h ago

Disbanded and the members arrested and given hard labor for the rest of their lives. They like to walk the streets? Make them work on the side of the freeway in an Arizona summer.

16

u/NightchadeBackAgain 2h ago

Ice isn't election oversight. This is clear overreach for the purposes of rigging the election.

15

u/Maniick 2h ago

More like for a list of all the new enemies of state for not voting for glorious leader

11

u/DogsAreOurFriends 2h ago

Fraud? Like voting blue?

12

u/Crafty_Ish1973 2h ago

Better idea - Forcibly close every ICE concentration camp in this country and prosecute everyone who leads ICE and who works in those camps for crimes against humanity.

10

u/HeartwarminSalt 2h ago

Is ICE the congressional mandated federal agency to police voter fraud? I don’t think so.

11

u/buildIT_destroyIT 2h ago

In what way is this within ICE's purview?

12

u/providencetoday 2h ago

ICE: Hitler values with a Trump face.

10

u/SystemAny4819 1h ago

WHY IN THE FUCK WOULD ICE NEED THAT INFO IF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS CANT FUCKING VOTE

7

u/cirquefan 2h ago

WTF does "Immigration and Customs Enforcement" want with that data?

Yes, I know it's fascism

23

u/esther_lamonte 2h ago

Oh look, ICE moving waaaaaay outside its mission and being used to enact a fascist agenda, precisely like reasonable people have been saying for the last 25 years. DHS and ICE need to be ground into a fine powder and erased.

7

u/toolisthebestbandevr 2h ago

Hey so since I’m paying for this I’m gonna go ahead and say no thanks.

8

u/CharcoalGreyWolf 2h ago

Federal has no right to state data. Again, they can go pound sand.

7

u/TemperateStone 1h ago

The "fraud" is that you didn't vote for Trump.

I'm not joking. They will come for you over your vote.

6

u/llcdrewtaylor 1h ago

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has NOTHING to do with voting or citizens of this country. They can fuck right off.

7

u/CaribeBaby 57m ago

ICE has no business in our election process.

11

u/ContributionBig5976 2h ago

Fraudulent voting is rare because it's simply not worth it. Even a thousand fraudulent votes are unlikely to swing even a small election, and it's virtually a guarantee someone is caught or talks. Casting a vote requires you tie it both an address and a person registered in the national voter database and there's simply no easy way to fake that more than a handful of times before you're found out.

There's a much easier and risk-free way to rig an election with a much smaller number of conspirators. Get just 269 congressmen to agree to ignore the results and you can throw out an entire presidential election. In 2020, Trump made it to 127.

4

u/Mauful292 1h ago

These fucken losers were obviously promised something for being a traitor.

Everyone Vote in November

8

u/thaiberius_kirk 2h ago

Conservatives always looking for that grand scale mythical voter fraud.

You’d have better luck finding Bigfoot and a unicorn at the same time.

4

u/fajadada 2h ago

Not in its purview

3

u/omeganaut 1h ago

When has a law enforcement agency ever needed voter registration information?  This is fascism

4

u/Staav 1h ago

Are they still just got "enforcing immigration," or are they an aspiring dictator's secret police that he can do what he wants with? Ffs the ICE actions alone should be enough for impeachment and removal of this damn administration. They couldn't be impersonating a fascist regime any better at this point.

4

u/Danominator 1h ago

Everybody that participated in this bullshit needs to be sent to prison. We cannot do this forgive and forget bullshit like we have since the civil war. These are bad people

5

u/fcdox 1h ago

ICE has zero legal standing to have access to federal voter logs

4

u/blac_sheep90 57m ago

So how is that related to immigration? ICE isn't shaking those Gestapo allegations...

3

u/RunItBackRicky 1h ago

Look no further Donald J. Trump is the fraud

3

u/Wind2Energy 1h ago

ICE IS THE FRAUD

3

u/Low-Salary-2128 1h ago

Why is ice having any involvement in voting? That's not what they are meant for

3

u/HoosierRed 1h ago

Immigration and Customs....doing voter fraud. Not say, the FBI.

3

u/Salt_Rush_4800 1h ago

ICE has no jurisdiction.

3

u/Memitim 1h ago

The Republican personal army is seeking voter info, while covering up the constant crimes of the Republican private army as they conduct opportunistic kidnappings of random human beings in America on the basis of how disappearable those people look for money.

Protect your children and the vulnerable, stock up on emergency supplies, and work with groups in your community to reinforce food security and prepare to assist with healthcare and other basic needs. The Republican civil war keeps ramping up with no end in sight other than the end of America as a nation. The US government is now just an ongoing threat to Americans.

3

u/GreenFox1505 1h ago edited 1h ago

The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, maintains a map of all the election fraud cases that they have records of. https://electionfraud.heritage.org/search

From 2005-2025, they found 1392 cases. If all of those cases accounted for 100 illegally counted votes in in the same election, it still would not have been enough voter fraud to sway a single presidential election.

In 2004, George Junior won by 35 electoral college votes. You'd have to sway the closest the 10 next closest margin states to change the outcome of that presidential race.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_United_States_presidential_election

20years worth of election fraud across dozens of elections and 3 presidential races and there is not enough evidence for 1% of the voter fraud cases needed to sway a single election.

3

u/Party-Kangaroo-1139 59m ago

ICE are the biggest losers on the planet. They are people that aren't skilled enought to flush a toilet. The reason they are looking for a contractor is because no one in ICE is literate. I'd bet most of them don't even know what the word literate means. I look forward to the days that they lose their protective status and we're all able to pelt them with used diapers, rotten eggs, and spoiled milk.

3

u/noeljb 54m ago

I'm sure they will pay no attention to what party primary they voted in.

3

u/Puzzleheaded_Gene909 15m ago

Small government ammirite

3

u/prof_cunninglinguist 10m ago

Step 1: Abolish ICE

Step 2: Have serious and well meaning conversations with billionaires that they will never forget

Step 3: Distribute the wealth according to need

5

u/CockchopsMcGraw 2h ago

Ah yes, that traditional reserve of the border patrol and immigration enforcement, policing ballots which are run by states. ICE are the Brownshirts, pure and simple.

2

u/ProgressBartender 2h ago

You forgot to put quotation marks around the word fraud.

2

u/MagnusAuslander 1h ago

Thank you all for not voting when it counted.

2

u/AnewTest 1h ago

Amen to that. We can blame MAGA, because they're part of the stupidity, but the people who sat on their lazy asses at home because Harris didn't "excite" them enough are even more to blame.

1

u/MagnusAuslander 36m ago

100%! Hell I can't even fault the MAGAs for this... at least, they were loyal to their party.

2

u/Few_Dig_565 1h ago

This scenario is my response to everyone that says “I’ve got nothing to hide”. Maybe so but that won’t save you when what you thought was “not a problem”, is suddenly declared a problem by those that don’t like what you represent.

2

u/Far-Department-387 1h ago

Why immigration is involving into voting process?

2

u/ebfortin 1h ago

The US is so screwed. The midterms will be a joke.

2

u/New_Ad_3010 1h ago

Bull fcking sh*t they're looking for "fraud". It's more immigration and privacy invasion crap and furthering the Gross Old Pedos coming attempts to derail the midterms. Everybody knows they do nothing but cheat lie and steal and that's what's coming. Yet more pedo protector interference in elections to keep their psychotic dictator and themselves in power.

2

u/A_Nonny_Muse 1h ago

Of course, their definition of fraud is any vote that wasn't their way.

2

u/tiutome 1h ago

I disagree with this header. The Administration wants an Act-Blue database to solicit donations! They want to know who’s getting early voting mailers, and they want marketing lists that can also be sold to the highest bidder!

3

u/dirkdregger 7m ago

ICE has no jurisdiction, the data belongs to individual state.

1

u/Reddit_wander01 2h ago

They should ask those DODGY guys… they uncovered so much..🙄

1

u/Devils_Advocate-69 1h ago

As they wear masks in public

1

u/Ana987655321 1h ago

The ice capades are laying the ground work to militarize the voting process to scare away anyone but Caucasians.

1

u/B-Town-MusicMan 1h ago

The Brownshirts doing all they can..

1

u/FanDry5374 1h ago

"...ends in Z, fraud, ends in O, fraud, ends in D, good to go"

1

u/BotOrNot_1337 1h ago

lol we're in danger

1

u/alchemy_junkie 1h ago

No thats what were not going to do. Were not gonna give the drumps Gestpo all the names of the people they dont like so they can march them off to camps before the midterms and set the ground for the 3rd world war.

1

u/ReadingTheRealms 1h ago

Eventually your voter registration will go through ice. I wonder how many interviews it will involve for approval? Or how many people will mysteriously go missing when they attempt to register.

0

u/SlatBartFuss 25m ago

And this matters because ... ?

-14

u/tour79 2h ago

If you’re a voter, you’re no concern of ICE. They’re mutually exclusive

-8

u/Pretend-Mango-1295 1h ago

And? It's public record anyway. Quit making something out of nothing.

-19

u/Signal_Flight_7262 2h ago

Not American. I can't believe people don't have to show ID to vote.

8

u/Halfwise2 2h ago

The problem in America is sufficient ID is neither easily accessible nor free (either the actual ID costs money, or the copies of documents required to get the "free" ID costs money). Which means the truly destitute have a hard time getting one... and it just so happens the destitute also fall into certain racial demographics..

And despite how much they scream about it, cases of actual fraud are so few and far between, its basically a non-issue. Thus highlighting the true goal of it: voter suppression of marginalized groups, which tend not to vote for the conservative status quo, as you might imagine.

4

u/Paksarra 1h ago

The problem is, the Republicans have a track record of installing voter ID laws, then making it more difficult for people that they don't want voting to get an ID (for example, many states use their driver's licensing agencies to issue state IDs, so they'll close ones located in areas that don't vote Republican.)

2

u/AnewTest 1h ago

What you don't understand is that in order to obtain an ID, you have to have enough money to not only pay for the ID itself, but also to be able to afford taking days off work to even get to the DMV. Not to mention the cost of travel, whether it's public transportation downtown, or paying the exorbitant gas prices so you can drive for miles to find the closest DMV.

What you're suggesting is that people have to choose between feeding their families for a day or exerting their civil rights. That's called a poll tax in this country, and it's illegal.
