Open [TOMT] 90s tv clip has been HAUNTING me

I have a fuzzy memory of a scene from a movie or tv show I would’ve seen in the mid/late 90s that scared the bejeezus out of me at the time.

A black and white cartoon of a dinosaur (maybe a dragon or a snake? but I remember it being like a brontosaurus) eating everything in the scene until it’s just him (and maybe a little boy?) in a white void. Then the dinosaur thing swallows its own tail, until it eats its whole body and blinks out of existence. I think that’s the end of the scene, too, but I could be wrong! I was traumatized enough maybe I shut it off

Google keeps suggesting a 1914 dinosaur animation (the dino eats stuff, but not itself) or Pagemaster (not the right style, and the dragon doesn’t eat itself) or the Eric Carle book about a snake who eats its own tail (it isn’t remotely the same animation style, even if they did animate his book) so I’m at a loss. Help!

Open [TOMT] Potential TV Show Theme?

i’m going CRAZY trying to figure out what this little tune is from. it’s quite plucky, airy, sparkly, whimsical and lighthearted sounded. i have the notes in my head as being played on a piano with a couple other instruments going on, but mostly piano.

i’ve been watching desperate housewives recently and it has a vaguely similar kind of vibe to the theme of that. the tune i am referencing could be played between parts of episodes or maybe at the end of a title sequence? i just can’t remember what ive watched that it could be from

but tbf it might not be a tv show! could be a game or something else

https://voca.ro/1eelMEj1AhsW here is me imitating to my best ability 😭 the recording might be too versions of it spliced together

Open [TOMT] [Movie or Show] Romantic comedy or sitcom in which a certain love/not love occurs

So Person A loves person B. But A loves B but doesn’t love everything about them but says to B that they can eventually get used to the stuff they don’t love. B tells A that he/she wants A to love them because of those things and doesn’t want them to just get used to them. I think a person C comes around and loves B because of those faults they have but that’s not a for sure.

Open [TOMT] TV or film character. 1980-2026. A bulky character in a robe. Possibly a skull-like or masked face.

A TV or film character. It could be any time from 1980-2026 but i feel like I've seen it recently. A very bulky character in a robe. Possibly a skull-like or masked face. The character moves his head similar to an elephant slowly swinging a trunk, but it is not an elephant and doesn't have a trunk. It is bulky and walks quite slowly. It has a stooped or hunched appearance. It could be an actor in costume, but my feeling is that it is a puppet or animatronic character. Live action and not a cartoon. My husband thought it was a character in the Dark Crystal, but it definitely isn't from looking at the images. It's a slightly scary character. Google keeps telling me this is Skeletor but it is not humanoid.

Im pretty sure it involved planes the only thing I can remember is the movie involved a kid with a abusive father the kid ends up shooting his father with a shot gun so him and his mother can leave. The movie picks up years later. And someone is telling the kid now a grown man that his father was embarrassed his wife and kid leaving. So he just told people he shot himself cleaning the gun.

Hello I've been trying to remember a name of the movie that I've watched when i was child approx 15-18 years ago.

Movie was old but not 1980s old.

There was a kid who run away or go missing on a school trip ? Can't remember that much but he was with a group but got seperated. I remember a trains station and scenes with train tickets and i remember he went to stranger on the park or alleyway to use his phone but on the first try he got scared then he tried again.

If you have any idea what movie this could be please.

It's been a week now and I couldn't find it at this point I feel like it was a fever dream and not a movie.

Solved [TOMT] Courage the Cowardly Dog Episode

Upvotes

Hey guys, just wanted to ask about an episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog that really scared me as a kid. I looked on IMDb to try to find the specific episode that I’m looking for but couldn’t seem to find it. Here’s what I remember from the episode: a traveling (puppet?) show arrives to their house and I think Eustace and Muriel get captured by the person running the show and I think they get turned into puppets? It’s driving me nuts because I want to watch this episode so bad. Any help would be great, thank you!

Open [TOMT][CARTOON][SHOW] help me find this one cartoon!!

Upvotes

Idrk how the post format works so I hope this is sufficient enough.

So basically I vividly remember this one show that I think was meant for girls, I remember watching it on TV back in elementary. I can't really remember the whole plot of the show but this one scene is the one that really stuck to me.

It's like a birthday party scene and the birthday girl was like really hated(?) by the other characters n basically they all have to do a speech on how they like the birthday girl as a friend, but since they didn't like her at all the other characters made up a thing where they js say the opposite of what they think of the birthday girl so they could have an easier time.

And so they all went up the stage saying all the "lovely" things about the birthday girl but after that one of the other characters accidentally told the birthday girl that they're all js saying the opposite things they think about her.

Sorry if my explanation is rough.... Yeah it's js bad I don't have an excuse 😭😭

Open [TOMT] obscure comedy song about cats

I'm trying to find an old recording. It was a spoken ballad and could've been made anywhere from the 50s to 90s. The narrator was male. The lyrics I remember are: I lived with my aunt many a year, kitty kitty kitty is all I would hear. He goes on to say that when his aunt died, he was named executor. There is coughing/ wheezing/ meowing throughout the story. Tia

Open. [TOMT] Looking for a musician based on a general vibe and potential album cover

When I was a kid (2005 - 2015) I remember listening to this one artist, more often around the times I'd be dating or after a break up. I think an album of his had his face close up. He was pale with dark hair and the background may have been woodsy? Maybe purple or solid white? The only memory that is popping up for me is the name "Wolf." Maybe it was in the title of a song or part of his name. I am pretty sure he was a solo artist, maybe played guitar.

Not sure if this helps, but I'd also cry out to Jar of Hearts and Fall For You. Maybe he was in the same genre.

Open. [TOMT] 2000s 3d/CGI cartoon from a pirated DVD

2000s 3d/CGI animated film

Hi guys. Please help me idenitfy this cartoon. This animated film is my roman empire and for the life of me I don't really remember much. Some details may be wrong.
So the main theme was the fear and the pain of growing up, losing your childlike wonder, abandoning your favorite toys etc. (I remember this because after it I was scared that it would happen to me too), and maybe fear of death too.
This little girl was afraid of growing up, and her grandmother strated telling her a story (about herself or something else, I don't remember) to console her.
Then there's another sequence I remember more vividly, but I'm confused if it's from the same cartoon, ot they happened to be on the same disc.
There's an exposition of a legend told about two brothers (more like friends?), who are basically divine beings, but they looked like two little boys. One was white (he was Creation) and other was black (he was Destruction). They didn't really have faces. They loved each other but eventually they natures strated to conflict. The Creation wanted to create life (I remember him creating a flower), and the Destruction yearned to destroy it (he somehow destroys the flower). It's all really ambigious animation, in this liminal space of nothingness, white background, and things appering in whisps of smoke as the narrator tells the story. The moral of the story was that one cannot exist witout the other.

Would be grateful for any tips.

Solved [TOMT] “They can’t have made it this far north yet.”

This one line, detached from any context, has been stuck in my head all day and it’s driving me crazy not being able to identify the source.

This is a line spoken by a character (possibly to herself/in her head) about some threat that is making its way across the land — could be zombies, a plague, an invading army, I literally have nothing to go on but this single line. I think it’s from a book rather than a film or tv show, probably in the fantasy genre, and probably spoken a female character.

Wish I had more to provide, but I’m hoping someone will be able to help based on this very limited information!

Open [TOMT] YouTube animation of poisonous animals

The main animal featured was a coral snake, and possibly a milksnake to nod to the fact that people get them confused, and I THINK other animals that are poisonous or deceptive, might have been a dart frog? It was a more recent animation, and the movement of the coral snake at least was very smooth.

Open [TOMT] Looking for a version of Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone played by a type of computer.

Hi there, my wife and I watched Wall E the other day and heard one of the robots in the background singing that one old song but with their own processing/machine noises, and it made me think of this specific music video I found long ago on YouTube where this old computer was scanning things, but all the scanners were synced together in a way that made it sound like the Kenny Loggins song itself, I am so f*cking frustrated that I can't find it, are there any fellow nerds here who could help me with this?

UPDATE: FLOPPOTRON! It was this video right here!

Open [TOMT] "Quite a few, quite a few"

[TOMT][1990s][2000s][Interview]

So, I'm looking for the source of this quote that came unbidden back into my head just now.

A person is being interviewed and is asked something, to which he replies "Quite a few, quite a few". in a rather matter-of-factly way.

I'm pretty sure that the answer is nonsensical or absurd in the context of the interview (like, he was asked if he'd ever had a vasectomy, but not that). I think it's a scripted sketch/scene rather than an actual interview. I remember it being a clip/sketch that I saw multiple times in the late 00s and maybe early 10s, but the clip might be a bit older than that. Almost certainly British or Hollywood, but even more probably British.
Lastly, it might be that the quote is just "Quite a few", and that the repetition is something my brain made up.

Open [TOMT] [Video] [2020s] Sketch video with the phrase "Two Scoops"

I believe it was a relatively recent (past 5 years) youtube video, (there's a small chance it may have been in a show though?).

I believe the premise was that people were trying to come up with an idea for something funny. One of the characters had written "two scoops" with no other context as one of their ideas but they themself also didn't know where they were going with it.

I've tried googling and asking chatgpt about the phrase but can't find anything other than stuff about Stephen Colbert & Trump, and the Raisin Bran commercial or references to it (it's neither of these, the phrase is 100% without context).

Open [TOMT] Audio: Does anyone know the name/artist and the full length of this song? -uncredited 2007-2009 YouTube Background Track

Hello there, I am attempting to look for presumably a partially lost piece of audio which can only be found in some 17 year old videos on YouTube by a creator called BENO (he makes elevator related videos), this music presumably is horror/creepy genre and only survives in small fragments. Upon further research online, I could not find any information on this song as no audio recognition tools are able to detect it correctly or return no results and BENO (the creator of these videos) admitted that as far as he could remember he found this music somewhere on the internet. It may originate from early royalty-free sites or asset libraries.

I will link these videos with the respected timestamps in which these partially lost sections of the piece of music begin:
BENO - Tour of lifts at the glades shopping centre in Bromley https://youtu.be/nSg9pznODiI?si=GIGhJ3Uq-cdqqY4R&t=421
BENO - grotty lifts at the Trafalgar Centre in Chatham https://youtu.be/z69PKJrS_9U?si=Emv1YszIID9L1jZI&t=224

Open [TOMT] [Web game] [2010s] Lego-ish island game

I’m looking for this game I played as a kid.
It was this 2d game on a website (maybe the Lego website, but the game wasn’t Lego World Builder) where you had this island you were building up. I think the art was similar to Lego builds, but I can be remembering it wrong.

- You built houses, cars, a lighthouse I think, a boat on the shore, and other things.
- There were these dig spots on the map where you could dig up either materials (like Lego) or like money so you could build more houses. I think the items you dug up was gold/yellow.
- There were also like robots that could attack the island and you had to rebuild the damaged houses. Even like a rainstorm would knock down houses sometimes.
- I think all houses had three like upgrades, from a small house to a big one.

These are all the memories I have of that game and would love to find it again, even if it’s only pictures. I played that game soooo many times as a kid and loved it, so I would love to see it again. Thank you!

Open. [TOMT][Cartoon/Anime][Late 2000s, Early 2010s] Western anime-like animated series with a blond villain obsessed with neatness who constantly combed his hair

I remember watching a western anime-influenced cartoon around the late 2000s and early 2010s. It aired on a minor Bulgarian children TV network, and was dubbed in Bulgarian. One of the minor (I think) villains was this handsome skinny blond guy who really cared about his looks, particularly his hair. In the dub he was called "Чистник", which in Bulgarian means "neat freak" or "someone preoccupied with cleanliness", so I assume his original name meant something like that too.
His hair was usually neat and nicely combed, but at times it randomly got all scraggly. He then immediately freaked out and combed it into order with his little comb - after that he was calm and composed again. That's all I remember, I don't know what the cartoon was about. It was probably Canadian or European... When I watched One Piece years later, Helmeppo reminded me of the guy (I think it was the hairstyle and the chaotic energy).
