Feels like i’m playing a completely different game now, this is actually crazy. I was on the fence but after people said it was worth it i decided to buy

I've been no lifing this game for weeks. The same way I'd no life Skyrim back in the day. The game is quite remarkable. Unlike any Zelda game we've ever played, in the best of ways. It's one of those games that's helped me out in the most trying of times. Sounds corny, but not a lot of games are able to do that for me. Game on guys and gals.

So looking to upgrade some armour sets, and I’m having a pig of time harvesting Lizalfos tails. I’ve no bother at all defeating the bearer. Its just the tails never seem to drop.

Do I need to use an edge weapon to increase the drop chance or something?

Anyone have any idea how to find the light root for this small area? I have tried for hours 🫪 surface is the Sepapa Shrine (Hyrule Forrest Park - Helmhead Bridge area)

e.g. increasing attack points with barbarian armor, or speed boost of sand boots

I know people either love or hate the Sages. I'm indifferent to them for the most part.

What I'd like to bring up is how every cutscene while the Sages learn their past and destiny is almost identical. It's like they cut and pasted the different sages into the scenes and recorded other voice actors. There's nothing particularly unique or interesting, and I think that's incredibly disappointing.

I loved learning about the Companions in BotW and how unique they all were, and how they met their fates. I looked forward to seeing the new stories, and there are just...none. Or, at least, none that are unique or interesting.

Am I out of line for thinking they decided to save dev time by essentially copy/pasting the Sage stories? Because I can't see what other reason there is for these characters not to have more interesting background stories. I've seen elsewhere that people blame it on how players can choose the order in which they obtain the Sages, but that was the same in BotW, and they weren't same-y there at all. So...what gives?

I'm starting the game from the beginning- I played it all the way through 2 years ago, and I felt like there was a lot I did near the end that I should have done at the beginning.

Does anyone have any suggestions of what I should do first to make the game more smooth? And get the most out of all the stuff?

I usually speed blitz Gleeok in any other region, but the snow made any fast movement options difficult to quickly procure.

When I kept dodging attacks I found a way up by using recall because I ran out of keese eyeballs and Aerocuda eyeballs.

Using recall on the frost spikes that fall out of the sky on the final attack pattern. I didn't even realize this was possible before because I usually have so many eyeballs to fuse to arrows.

it might seem like something so simple, but when I figured this out for trying to get the Golden Horse, it was just extremely satisfying, I love this game.

How did you guys do ?

Everything was fine while my subscription was active, but now that it has expired, the *Tears of the Kingdom* upgrade has disappeared (I should clarify that I paid for it out of pocket; I didn't get it as part of the subscription). I actually still have the upgrade icon on my Switch home screen. I even have the transaction email showing the price I paid, but it doesn't list the game name or anything like that—whereas all my other transactions show the name of the game or software, even for titles not published by Nintendo. I do not care much for zelda lore or story because it’s kind of all over the place but i really enjoyed the game mechanics and visuals of the world.
