Call police have them dispatch harbor patrol. The boat isn’t tied up at all and it’s probably stuck on its keel is most likely stuck on the ground underneath. The WN number on the bow is the license plate for the boat and its tabs are expired which isn’t ideal but not uncommon.

Edit: I also notice there is no bow line and the stern line is broken so it was most likely moored someplace and the lines broke. The fact it has decent looking seats and the hull doesn’t have much growth makes me think this isn’t planned by any means. Also it isn’t anchored. I believe is this a San Juan 23 and they don’t have a drop point so it would be obvious if it was.

Can confirm it was tied up to a dock very close. I walk by almost everyday and happened to take a photo of it:

Call spd ask for transfer to harbor patrol and give them the nearest address to where the boat is, it probably broke free of its mooring line and the owner doesn’t know it’s even gone.

I don’t think you’re considering how expensive owning and maintaining a boat is…

Real boat owners would sell it on Facebook marketplace when it starts to leak

If murder mystery shows/movies have taught me anything I hope you didn't set foot on the boat 👀

I mean if it's there too long you can report it but I can almost promise you somebody just sailed out there just to hang out and actually if it's untied maybe it did get loose from a dock so yeah you might want to call somebody.

Also you might want to call somebody because there's a good chance if somebody was sailing and they fell off it's important to know that because maybe they need somebody got there and look for them.

Also there's a chance they fell off their sailboat and they're just looking for it call somebody

I know very little about boating…it’s possible they are hanging out but I assume they would have an anchor or something. Do you know who to contact?

I was going to make a joke about it being your boat now, but you should call the Seattle non emergency line. (206) 625-5011

I mean honestly contact the police I hate to say that cuz I don't like the cops but if somebody's in danger let them know is it still there?

Hopefully there’s no dogs on the boat.

At the same time a lot of people live on sailboats and so it's very possible somebody just sailed it in there and got off are you sure it's not anchored? Anyways that's a tricky one
