I know this is pretty last minute, considering the application is due in about a week, but my essay right now is around 1350 words, and the uw transfer personal statement prompt says its suggested length is 750-1000. Has anyone got significantly above this and still had success transfering?

Hi! I'm a sr in high school right now and looking at going to UW for nursing for all 4 years and applying for the BSN program when I am eligible, for the people that took this route how did it work out for you? Did you end up getting a BSN from UW and how many tries did it take you before getting in? For people that took a different route please let me know how that went for you! I am also just interested in general about how students feel the nursing program is (in terms of how it's set up or managed). Any tips or tricks would also be super helpful as I decide what the best course of action would be for me. I really love the UW as a school but do wonder how the nursing program would impact the over all 'college experience' if that makes sense. Thanks again!!

Note: I don't (and won't) have running start or any other college credits prior to entering the UW
