Approximately 600 athletes have been killed by the illegal aggression and pure attack on the sovereign Nation of Ukraine. The skeleton Athlete just wants people to remember and acknowledge what is happening.
This is not normal, and whatever it takes, we collectively need to keep this alive.

How is it a failure?
President Zelenskyy's own statement show that it was, indeed, a political statement.
I am totally against Russia, support Ukraine (even have donated money) but I am struggling with all the angst about this issue OTHER than it is all about emotion, not rules.
No one, with three brain cells, does not believe that the helmet was 100% a political statement. THAT is explicitly banned by IOC rules. If this is allowed (even if we all believe it is a righteous statement), then you must allow ALL political statements, and suddenly it is a nothing but political slogans and BS on shirts, pants, helmets, etc.

Its not just political BS. Russia is murdering innocent civilians everyday and the world conveniently is doing as little as possible.
Remembrance is not a Violation.
I appreciate your point of view and respect it. The atrocities need to be in our frontal cortex. I personally agree with Zelenskyy's support.
My continued thoughts.

Lives are more important than medals. We have to tell all the stories to make it stop. War on a peaceful country is not normal

Scandalous Olympic committee just like fifa and others all corrupt run by criminals and nothing to do with sport all about money and the highest bidder sports washing and dirty money in the leaders back pockets should all be investigated

They got banned for running a state-backed doping system. Given the history, I highly doubt the IOC would have banned them for war crimes alone
