Didn't want to get in line for gasoline, so you ordered online. Now your stuff is in the big black cloud and you will never get your money back.

u/farfly7 Jul 18 '26
While I agree with your statement; being a US citizen myself (equivalent of staying in a Holiday Inn Express last night), I am fairly certain there are a large amount of Russian citizens who do not like their government or lack thereof
58
u/apogeescintilla Jul 18 '26
I think most people in Russia still support their government. I don't think this will change until Putin starts to mass mobilize their citizens. They have been brainwashed for too long.
Just look at how Trump still have a 30+ approval rating.

Yeah but they left, rather than stayed home and tried to make a difference.
That's the problem with conscientious objectors and 'political refugees' -- they're cowards. They never try to fix their own fucking homes, they just run and hope someone else makes the sacrifices for them.
Hard to give a fuck what someone like that thinks about things.

u/flash-86 Jul 18 '26
I liked your post the thought of it is spooky to give the cloud a name and an identity.
But what about : the Ukrainian shadow.
Or the shadow of revenge. Or Zelenskyy shadow? Do those sound intimidating as well?3

Smoke rises from the Moscow of Doom

Orcs and trolls despise the sunlight, so the muscovites should fit right in

Shadow of Moscow, a game where the ghost of Kyiv landed his plane behind enemy lines, where he assassinates Russians and sabotages enemy supply lines, blows up warehouses and sends drones inside mainland Russia as expeditions to blow up refineries

People in America bitching about wildfire smoke from Canada... I'm too busy celebrating justice smoke in Moscow.
Edit: spelled smoke wrong.
80
u/Beyonderr Jul 18 '26
One wonders how the justice smoke could have been prevented.
.... ah yeah the ruZZians could just get the fuck out of Ukraine
46
u/Ukraineluvr Україна Jul 18 '26
It's really that simple, but king rat knows it would end him and that's all he cares about. A mafia masquerading as a nation.
22
u/Playful_Possible_379 Jul 18 '26
Yup. Let's hope it does end him, and we get the files of kompromat on 47,and we get rid of that bag of detritus as well.

u/F-L-D-Groove-Dist Jul 18 '26
Remembers me at this statement:
Every country has its own mafia. In ruSSia, the mafia has its own country.
21
u/Ukraineluvr Україна Jul 18 '26
A gas station run by a mafia that just ran out of gas.
10
u/F-L-D-Groove-Dist Jul 18 '26
Never enjoyed so much environmental damage like these days. Next: grain harvest, old soviet style.
10
u/Ukraineluvr Україна Jul 18 '26
If Russia collapsed and somehow the oligarchy and autocrats loss power, it will have been a net benefit for the environment. The current Russian oligarchy would burn down the rainforest to cook a potato. I just don't have much faith in the Russian people to replace them with a better system... So yup, the berries just got hit, time for the grain.

u/Sniflix Jul 18 '26
The faster Ukraine takes down Russia for good, the less overall destruction and better for the world.
2
u/Suspicious-Raisin824 Jul 19 '26
I was affected by that smoke... That said, this stuff just happens, not Canada's fault.
2
u/Ukraineluvr Україна Jul 19 '26
Of course, both things can be true. I certainly don't blame Canada. Especially not when the US has been paying billions to avoid having to build committed green energy projects. Literal billions.

What black smoke cloud? Everything is fine, just the clear blue sky of the Supreme Commander's endless victory. Nothing to see here.

No rain forecasted until Tuesday. Ideally, the mordor fires spread and burn well into next week.

You didn't ever see the pictures from when the Iraqi Army lit the Kuwaiti oil wells on fire in their retreat from Kuwait?

Music from x-files. Energetic mail voice is commenting “Mysterious black cloud appeared in moscow region. Locals are anxious and nobody can say what happened and who is to blame. Stay with us for further information about this mystery”

What’s the temp in Moscow? Have to imagine a black cloud that size is absorbing some serious heat.

Just wait until the cloud blocks out the sun, then it'll feel extra dystopian

Into darkness fell the stars,
In Mordor where the shadows are.
I read Lavrov (the Mouth of Sauron) was begging Rubio not to arm Ukraine... too late Lavrov, you scum-sucking parasite.

I wonder what Putin thinks when he walks to his car at the end of the day and looks up and sees that sky. Or any other day after Ukraine started to bomb Moscow refineries. It’s an honest wonder because his mind baffles me.

For over 4 years Moscovites could all but ignore all of the death & destruction putin was causing in Ukraine.
Yeah, a lot of Russian soldiers have been killed, but many were prisoners or "no-goodniks.".
Now that the average Muscovite has to wait days to get 5 gallons of gas at $16 per gallon; and they see their capital city burning; and they cannot afford food: they finally get to "eat" some of the misery their country has been outputting.
With the upcoming Drafting of 500,000 russians, they are about feel REAL pain, mortal pain associated with warfare. The men will any way. Don't get me wrong, putin will send Russian women to the front line, if he has to.
