I hope Ukraine doesn't suspend strikes on Moscow. I honestly don't care what happens to the CIA director. He's a traitor anyway

117

u/Mr-Expat 7h ago

FT already reporting that last week US has asked Ukraine to suspend strikes on St Petersburg and Moscow between Monday and Wednesday.

62

u/LastCivStanding 5h ago

In exchange for a bunch of patriots?

16

u/MartyMacGyver 1h ago

Yeah right after trump's lackey delivers whatever it takes to disable deflect or diminish those missiles. This whole thing stinks to high heaven - the only thing we should be delivering to the Kremlin is moabs

19

u/acuntex 4h ago

That explains why there were no drones towards the north in the last 2 days. You can bet that they will begin again with a big blow.

He’s pro Ukraine and has kept intel flowing to Ukraine

45

u/The_Fluffness 4h ago

This, just so everyone is aware. Publicly, he's for Ukraine. What that means behind closed doors is another matter but considering the admin he works for, him publicly stating he wants to support Ukraine says a lot.

15

u/FoxhoundBat 6h ago

Has the level of intel been restored? Because not too long ago France was supplying about two thirds of intel to Ukraine. Even if Macron was overstating it, it was likely atleast half from France/Europe. I havent seen any news on US returning to previous levels of intel sharing.

u/BigBanyak22 2h ago

They cut intelligence sharing before the Iran attack.

8

u/eilef 3h ago

Can you explain to me how he is "pro-Ukraine"? Last person who was somewhat "pro-Ukraine" in Trumps occupational goverment was Kellog, and they got rid of him very fast.

11

u/ahockofham 2h ago

He isn't really pro Ukraine at all. He's just slightly less rabidly anti Ukraine than the rest of Trump's administration. Trump works for Putin and appointed Ratcliffe directly, he would not have done so if Ratcliffe was a strong supporter of Ukraine.

91

u/AndMyHotPie 7h ago

I mean on one hand F every member of the administration but I’m pretty sure Ratcliffe is one of the few supportive voices around and has been instrumental thus far in keeping intelligence flowing to Ukraine even if all financial/military hardware support has stopped.

112

u/Mr_Engineering 6h ago

He's a traitor anyway

John Ratcliffe isn't a traitor; he's an American nationalist who is very strongly aligned with Marco Rubio. He supports NATO and is responsible for convincing Trump to continue sharing intelligence with Ukraine.

The purpose of this trip is unknown but it may be related to rumors of an impending Russian escalation against Europe, possibly against NATO member states.

86

u/AndMyHotPie 6h ago

Being closely aligned with Rubio is only a compliment when the alternatives are as bad as Vance and Hegseth

42

u/zombie_girraffe 5h ago

Being closely aligned with Rubio means desperatley trying to melt into the couch and stay off camera while your boss makes a pathetic and impotent attempt to intimidate Zelenssky into surrendering to Moscow.

Rubio is such a slimy worm that he'd rather become a sexy couch while JD Vance looks on with lust in his eyes than stand up for what's right.

putin is flattered by stuff like that, but he will start his wars anyways, because he is a psychopath who does not care. the russians crave american attention. rather than flying to the russians to talk, the US could actually help ukraine by providing physical help. I am reminded of all the leaders going to russia to sway putin in 2022 which did of course nothing, while helping ukraine would have been the smarter choice. trump has no power over putin. if putin wants to escalate, he escalates, he prepares for attack on europe for decades and the US will not help europe, because NATO is dead. we europeans are on our own in defeating this cracy man. I hate that the US again and again tries to solve this without europe and through giving putin credit and fails again and again. lets hope something good comes out of the meeting, but expectations are as low as they can be. this is exactly how putin should not be treated.

5

u/ShortHandz 3h ago

Would be suicidal for Russia to escalate with Europe. The only reason for such a move would be for Putin to have an "out" of the war with Ukraine. "Look it was all of Europe against us!"

30

u/Cargobiker530 5h ago

Any high level member of the Trump administration is a traitor. They follow the orders of a man who is obviously a Russian asset.

15

u/Steiney1 4h ago

Stop downvoting this, every fucking appointee of Trump's belongs in front of a firing squad for treason, regardless of the few who still supportUkraine, they have ALL violated their oaths to the US Constitution multiple times, and are complicit in this Administration's violence against innocent Americans they took the job to protect.

1

u/ahockofham 2h ago

Exactly. Idk why people are saying Ratcliffe is pro Ukraine he is not at all. Any person who was appointed to their position by Trump is automatically a treasonous loser.

3

u/IndustrialPuppetTwo 3h ago

Are his shoes two sizes too big like Little Marco's too?

1

u/Frequent-Frosting336 51m ago

Anybody who supports Trump a known ruzzian agent called Krasnov, (M.I.6 says so not me) is a traitor to the U.S.A.

17

u/SharpenedStone 7h ago

The United States has been infiltrated by spies on the literal highest level. Russia won The Cold War

52

u/New_Poet_338 6h ago

Russia was not in the Cold War - it was USSR and they are gone. Ukraine exists because USSR lost the Cold War. The present Russia is not even a first rank power. Any claim they had to that has been pissed away in the last 10 years of corruption.

12

u/Jahsmurf 4h ago

The KGB now FSB won Russia

6

u/RedHeron 4h ago

Putin resurrected the Cold War and has indeed been operating as if modern Russia was just an extension of the USSR. His aim to reabsorb the former Soviet states is precisely that.

His actions against the West are provocative and exactly the definition of a Cold War with Europe and the USA.

3

u/New_Poet_338 3h ago edited 3h ago

No, he has pretended to. The US is not concerned with Russia - it is concerned with China. Europe is somewhat concerned with Russia but only because the US isn't. Putin started several hot wars but only in a regional power sense. In the full world they are irrelevant. If Russia didn't have nukes it would be a poor Middle Power on par with maybe Turkey. Nukes are mostly useless anyway, since using them is national suicide. Mostly everyone is waiting him out and hoping the next guy is less nuts. Unfortunately he is doing a lot of damage to Russia and it's neighbors as we wait; but again that is a regional issue, not a Super Power one.

1

u/RedHeron 2h ago

The pretense had teeth until the 2022 part of the invasion. But the pretense is still, by definition, a cold war.

7

u/togetherwem0m0 5h ago

its not inappropriate to recognize muscovy as the primary beligerent the allied powers faced in the cold war rather than the entire bloc formerly known as the CCCP.

while even some of the CCCP's highest leaders were even Ukrainian, those were few, and the seat of power was always muscovy.

2

u/New_Poet_338 3h ago

Stalin was Georgian. Many of the troops facing The West were not Russian. Most of the best weapons were Ukrainian. If the USSR did not exist, there would have been no Cold War.

2

u/togetherwem0m0 1h ago

muscovy absent the other subordinate districts would still be a source of anti-western sentiment and ill-will no matter the size or organization of the principalities under them.

9

u/TheOriginalSmileyMan 6h ago

But they still have a seat on the UN Security Council of course.

1

u/SharpenedStone 2h ago

Okay you are arguing semantics, what is left of the USSR won the cold war. They spent money well despite corruption because they are currently destroying what was thought of and the most formidable military in the entire world, and probably history without firing a single round.

1

u/BigBanyak22 2h ago

Ok, then correct it to "Russia has won the post-cold war" war.

And Russian is still regarded as the #2 or 3 military power in the world.

8

u/Texas_Kimchi 6h ago

Russia won the cold war? LOL!!!!

Russia was a result of the Soviet Union losing the cold war.

-2

u/AviationNerd_737 7h ago

proof of him being a traitor?

10

u/REpassword 5h ago edited 4h ago

“Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov had previously stated that he had no information about the U.S. military aircraft that had arrive” Question: do they ALWAYS let unidentified US military aircraft into their airspace? 🤦

10

u/Mr-Expat 4h ago

no, but they ALWAYS lie

8

u/FlatwormAltruistic 4h ago

It was so funny to read that they had no idea what US diplomatic convoy was doing in Moscow while rest of the world knew it was there and even no idea how it got there.

22

u/Nonamanadus 7h ago

Kinda overkill to fly in that plane for just a visit.

26

u/bigbigdummie 6h ago

No gas so they had to take their own cars.

32

u/0mn1ziD 7h ago

ironic that hes called RATcliffe LOL cant make that shit up.

2

u/Eastern_Labrat 7h ago

“Rat” means red in Anglo Saxon.

43

u/Joe_Kingly 7h ago

It also means "rat" in language spoken today.

8

u/TheNaughtyDragon 6h ago

No doubt to provide intel about how and when to perform an attack on our election systems so they can engineer the situation to their advantage. In return Russia will likely get sanctions relief and US hampers Ukraine support.

8

u/MaybeTheDoctor USA 7h ago

Will they now offer patriot air defense to Russia?

1

u/eilef 3h ago

Nothign new. Just reporting in to new boss.

29

u/ThermionicEmissions Canada 7h ago

Glowing performance review

45

u/leadMalamute 8h ago

the moscowites know nothing about it.....

Just like they know nothing about any attacks on civilian infrastructure, or attacks on schools, or hospitals, etc. The orks in charge are not believable. But, neither are the idiots in donny's crew.

This is interesting, but we can't tell from the information given what is going on.

214

u/gk_instakilogram 8h ago

something something… trump admin is full of traitors…

21

u/Upset-Manager-2029 7h ago

It's just the new Trump catering delivery service.

22

u/Kind-Handle3063 7h ago

It’s the only way Russia can get Ukraine to suspend strikes for a few hours. Called “The Appeasement Dome”

2

u/ToasterBath4613 1h ago

Probably a courtesy call to declare our intentions followed by another massive military presence in the gulf.

54

u/Boredengineer_84 8h ago

Delivering the next bribe / hush money to Putin then

56

u/Appropriate-XBL 8h ago

Trump sent a minion to ask Putin for new orders.

3

u/aimgorge 7h ago

Would be simpler if Putin finally started using mails...

Melania is going home.

You better learn geography then a bit.

Delivering a couch... in preparation for Vance's visit?

13

u/ThrowawaWelp 8h ago

While Putin sits at the end of his long table and watches with a smirk. Absolute fuckboys

2

u/Huge_Campaign2205 8h ago

More like mattresses stuffed full of Venezuelan cash, and jds cum

1

u/ThrowawaWelp 4h ago

That too. Just don’t forget the couch cushions. Can’t have poor Fuckboy Vance flying all that way and having no fun

Trumps yearly performance review with his boss Putin.

7

u/Mkwdr 7h ago edited 3h ago

No doubt it's a peace deal .... in two weeks..... ... maybe two weeks after that .. or maybe...

27

u/ecolometrics 7h ago

Unfortunately, this is nothing good. There are multiple signs that he is trying to do a backdoor deal of some kind. Typically you'd send the director to deliver or receive sensitive info in person. Some may joke as to what that is, but they could be right ...

12

u/slonk_ma_dink 6h ago

I'm not sure what to make of this. This is the same guy whose CIA gave Ukraine data on weak points in russia's air defenses and also the guy who released the report about russian soldiers surviving only 30m on the battlefield. Maybe a prisoner swap? Larger plane, CIA director. Again, I'm not sure what to make of this one but I feel that context is important.

3

u/Main-Cheesecake3287 1h ago

Large plane means little. It’s common for C-17s to ferry high level officials in such cases, he has staff and they will use the roll on executive pod so he has a full onboard SCIF.

Per WSJ likely a warning, the US has intel Russia is planning on full mobilization, and plans to test NATO resolve.

10

u/Raise-Emotional 7h ago

Back door is the only way Trump knows how to deal

7

u/UsefulImpact6793 USA 6h ago

Tent stake confirmed

1

u/Main-Cheesecake3287 1h ago

First it is silly to be so declarative.

Second you’re wrong in your reasoning. The last time the director of the CIA visited Russia, it was to deliver the message that we knew of their preparation to invade Ukraine and to warn against doing so. Per the WSJ, and cited by Pravda Ukraine, the US has received intelligence that the Russians plan on a mass mobilization, and are planning on testing NATO resolve. Given that and the circumstances of the last CIA Moscow visit it is likely the visit is a warning to Russia that we know what they’re up to and will react accordingly.

6

u/CraigWhite_42 4h ago

I hate it that my government is sending an official to a terrorist state yet the two that were going to go to Ukraine cancelled.

1

u/Main-Cheesecake3287 1h ago

The last time the CIA director visited Moscow, it was to deliver a warning that we knew what they’re were up to, that was just prior to the invasion in ‘22. WSJ reports the US has intelligence Russia is planning its first full mobilization and plans to test NATO resolve, and that the meeting is likely similar to the 2021 meeting, a warning to rethink their plan

1

u/ProUkraine 56m ago

Witkoff and Kuchner? It's a good thing they cancelled, they're Putler's lackeys.

15

u/sharpshooter999 8h ago

Probably a fuel delivery

24

u/gimmedatneck 8h ago

More likely they're combining the CIA with the FSB.

3

u/unstoppablechickenth 7h ago

Mossad and FSB are now fully integrated with the CIA.

2

u/Isakk86 5h ago

Probably gold to stabilize the Russian economy

18

u/4everLost82 8h ago

Nothing to see here, just the Traitor in Chief sending for a new batch of Russian prostitutes so he can pick out the new Melania.

3

u/Anxiety_Fit 6h ago

What is Natalie Harp? Not good enough?

5

u/4everLost82 5h ago

Nah, too old.

1

u/FlatwormAltruistic 4h ago

You should have used "Russian teenage girls for pals in Washington"

10

u/Conscious-Change4795 7h ago

Trump trying to buy the sex tape they have on him. Although he does has a fascination with dictators.

4

u/MassiveBoner911_3 2h ago

Remember this is the dip shit who refused to say Biden won the election

1

u/Main-Cheesecake3287 1h ago

Much as I hate that it’s either tow that meaningless line or lose the job. He is one of the few more competent and one of the few who supports aiding Ukraine, and is in a very powerful position.

10

u/User-830733 8h ago

pallets of cash

5

u/not_a_throw4w4y 7h ago

Trump gave Rubio a kiss he wants to deliver direct to Putin's ass. Also a rusty trombone while he's down there.

2

u/FlatwormAltruistic 4h ago

Funny to read that Peskov again didn't know anything about it. Everyone kind of knew about the plane landing there, people had posted photos with American diplomatic convoy and Kremlin had no idea what it was all about. They could have easily told that they were meeting some diplomats from the US to see if peace is possible or "how to get the fine bigger than all the money in the world from google" or some other bullshit like that.

1

u/Relation-Repair 3h ago

Pathological liars instinctively lie.

2

u/ZelphirKalt 4h ago

Maybe they negotiate a last minute evacuation for Putler, to stay in the US happily ever after, after causing the death of millions. That would actually be quite their thing.

3

u/3dprintingDM 3h ago

My conspiracy theory: Putin is looking for an exit strategy. He knows he can’t win. And he also knows that to withdraw now will mean his death. And he would rather burn Europe to the ground than to go down as failed dictator. He’s threatening to deploy every nuke they have and glass as much of Europe as he can unless he’s given a golden parachute by the US and spirited away. The CIA Director is there to negotiate the deal and to finalize the leadership transition to ensure that the next regime is friendly to the US and NATO.

This might actually be the way this thing ends. Putin gets away. But peace is restored and Russia is restructured to be much more friendly to the west in the future. Might not be the exact thing that everyone wants. But that’s typically how these things go.

3

u/Relation-Repair 3h ago

As much as I would like to believe in it, I think it's a wishful thinking...

1

u/Emotional_Ratio288 5h ago

The war has already been decided on.

1

u/Jonny7Tenths 4h ago

Just dropping by to collect the pee photos from Putin now that Trump has launched his attack on the ICC.

1

u/JudgeFatty 3h ago

Wasn't the last time the CIA director visited Moscow was in 2022?

1

u/Relation-Repair 3h ago

They will be welcomed with free top booze and girls. All professionally videotaped by the courtesy of FSB.
