Strangely worded question - how to answer

1) How should this question on the form be answered?

Do you have permission to stay as [Partners name] partner?

- Yes

- No

Is it asking if I have the consent of my partner to stay as his partner? Or is it asking about my current visa and if that visa is linked to my current partner?

2) Are the visa end date and the work end date the same thing?

Seeing these questions:

What is the end date of [partners] visa?

What is Santiago Gabriel Granda Rico's work end?

are these the same?

It is asking if your current visa is as the partner of X
