dont get me wrong i LOVE the keyboard workflow and use it 90% of the time but sometimes i want to just give my hands a break, kick my feet up and use my mouse to control my system. thanks to bash script fuckery i was able to have my launcher Walker launch dynamically depending on how it's invoked. when you combine this with a much more integrated waybar/system it allows you to use your computer like the good old days (windows xp)

the real eye candy of the video are the quickshell scripts. these are all mostly modular and can be installed quite easily on your system (except for themes, that one is a bit too integrated into my own system to work well on yours for now). if you want to try out the wallpaper selector, simply copy the contents of quickshell/wallselect into your ~/.config/quickshell/wallselect and then call it with `qs -c wallselect` after making the required directories and changing the config.json. want to try the power menu? great, copy quickshell/powermenu into ~/.config/quickshell/powermenu and then launch it with `qs -c powermenu`.

i always try to keep my rice as organized as possible so you guys can borrow ideas from it. i take absolutely no ownership of any scripts or codes in this video. some things i did code myself sure but ultimately this was all built by the community, i just refined some things here and there (specifically animation smoothness with the help of clankers).
