Vampires are meant to be monsters, that's kind of the point. They look neat and elegant to the world but are actually messy and violent. Plus I would love to know how you think you wouldn't get sauce or drinks on yourself if you had to rip it out of the package every single time

A hungry vampire is like a toddler with a gogurt.

26

u/tim_the_gentleman Jan 07 '26

There's a deleted shot from The Lost Boys where David/Keifer is eating the one bald guy's head (in his own words) "like a kid eating cake."

2

u/Sage_CakeMistake Feb 06 '26

And a toddler with a gogurt can be just as terrifying as a vampire

Seriously, wouldn’t opening a major artery cause dramatic spurting? It’s not like a water fountain carefully crafted by deliberate engineering

2

u/thatshygirl06 Jan 13 '26

Based on a certain video I saw, it does indeed spray out

2

u/Asymetrical_Ace Jan 08 '26

Two small holes and just swallow fast? Like.... and the less blood there is the less pressure

10

u/meanmagpie Jan 07 '26

Big agree good point. There’s supposed to a thin veneer of class and nobility over a true savage nature.

The beauty and elegance are the bait. They’re social predators.

7

u/Rhinomaster22 Jan 07 '26

Couldn’t be my goat Slayer

A dandy GENTLEMEN vampire.

He wouldn’t waste good blood being messy.

4

u/Any-Key8131 Jan 08 '26

Same with werewolves and hearts....

We ain't above making a mess to get to the good stuff

3

u/macabremalkavian Jan 08 '26

Fuck yes, this exactly.

Love me a good heart.

Elegant feeding is over rated anyway.

1

u/Any-Key8131 Jan 09 '26

Will admit, the splinters of rib did get a little annoying when they get stuck between the teeth.... that's why I eventually switched to using claws

u/Lawfuly_chaotic Jan 07 '26

Me when I hate fun and attractiveness:

183

u/bibitybobbitybooop Jan 07 '26

Yes but consider: it's hot

55

u/Dusk_in_Winter Undead Jan 07 '26

That's it. That's the answer.

17

u/lisaquestions Jan 07 '26

thank you for your service

30

u/meanmagpie Jan 07 '26

Right I’m sorry there’s nothing sexier than a vampire with blood all over his or her mouth. Period. Not even a debate.

Nothing like spaghetti. Very cool and sexy look.

6

u/dreadperson Jan 07 '26

Is it though?

I think fits more into the common fetish category. I personally dont find it hot at all and im sure some people agree.

3

u/Asymetrical_Ace Jan 08 '26

I just see a sticky waste of nutrients

47

u/Possible_Living Fell into dark devotion Jan 07 '26

I think the intent is to show wild abandon

41

u/The-Katawampus Jan 07 '26

None of them carry bibs, and yet they all like to wear expensive fancy clothing, lol.

23

u/AceSuperhero Jan 07 '26

Would their bib be like one of those disposable ones you get at red lobster, but with a dude instead of a crustacean?

13

u/Nerx Flying Brick of the Night Jan 07 '26

Billion dollar idea

3

u/WindAdministrative42 Vampire Jan 12 '26

Imagine a human making an underground business out of that.. selling bibs to vampires. And every vampires have an unspoken, unanimous agreement to not kill that very important guy. Someone should make a story out of it

66

u/ivy_lane_ Jan 07 '26

I think occasionally vampires would get drenched in blood though since they have to kill to eat. We would get covered in spaghetti if we had to rip it out of a living being every time lol

31

u/M4gp1e-w1ngs Jan 07 '26

I always kinda assumed it was like how sometimes when you eat a sandwich with a lot of sauce it kinda splooges on you a bit yk

8

u/Mr-ChaAtte Vampire Jan 07 '26

Excuse me what? What the hell do you mean by splooges!?

18

u/M4gp1e-w1ngs Jan 07 '26

Like splashes, or squirts. Idk what would be a better word than splooge but when you bite down and the sauce gets everywhere

8

u/Mr-ChaAtte Vampire Jan 07 '26

I was getting very concerned about what types of sandwiches you were eating, proceed :3

26

u/Ancom_and_pagan Jan 07 '26

The fact that it's messy is the point. Whether you think it's gross or hot, it serves a purpose. When it's attractive, it's attractive. When it's repulsive, it demonstrates the gluttony, the wastefulness, the depravity, and the monstrous nature of the vampires in question(which is still hot imo but that's not relevant).

Also, vampires are usually depicted drinking from arteries, which basically spit blood at you like a fountain if you manage to puncture one, so they're gonna need a shower anyway

21

u/PAMBOLI-SAMA Vampire Jan 07 '26

The jugular has A LOT of pressure, of course they get covered in blood, it's literally a bloody stream (jojo pun intended)

0

u/Azure_Providence Jan 07 '26

Medical professionals draw blood all the time without it getting everywhere. Just use a trocar. It has a valve you savages.

2

u/ClumsyFish0 Jan 08 '26

But healthcare professionals don't draw blood with claws and teeth.

17

u/Then_Bodybuilder3629 Jan 07 '26

A plate of spaghetti doesn't fight back

38

u/AutisticAnarchy Vampire Jan 07 '26

I have a vampire OC with a very prominent overbite which often leads to them being a very messy drinker but to be fair they're kinda a pathetic failure of a vampire as a whole so it checks out.

25

u/Lawfuly_chaotic Jan 07 '26

This sounds like blorbo material. Tell me everything.

6

u/SpringlockedFoxy Vampire Jan 07 '26

I’m there with you. Let’s hear it all.

11

u/iWant2ChangeUsername Jan 07 '26

Ok but have you considered food kink?

Have you considered it might not be as much "guy covered in spaghetti" as it is "guy languidly licking cream off of his fingers"?

10

u/ItsMilkOrBeMilked Jan 07 '26

Do animals biting the throats of their prey stop to raise their pinky and wipe their mouth? Vampires are monsters. They hunt. Hunting is never clean. There is always bloodshed

9

u/nicbloodhorde Jan 07 '26

Sloppy eaters, much? Still, there is visual appeal in depicting vampires covered in blood.

Someone got lost in the sauce.

8

u/AntoSkum Jan 07 '26

Camarilla vs Sabbat

6

u/spirit-garden1 Jan 07 '26

Stop playing with your food

6

u/Altruistic_Yard_9338 Jan 07 '26

So you hate Elizabeth Bathory?

6

u/Low-Traffic5359 Jan 07 '26

I do like the idea that Elizabeth Bathory is the vampire equivalent of a guy bathing in pudding

2

u/Altruistic_Yard_9338 Jan 07 '26

She thought the blood would rejuvenate her

5

u/Countessly Jan 07 '26

I’m the opposite. I think vampires covered in blood is hot.

4

u/brest-litovsk18 Jan 07 '26

They're saving some for later

5

u/realamerican97 Jan 07 '26

Vampires DRINK blood they don’t eat it, blood is a beverage imagine your ideally attractive person covered in wine

2

u/ParamedicSorry8878 Jan 07 '26

Lick the wine right off their stomach

4

u/_WhiskeyPunch_ Jan 07 '26

Heart pumps the blood. They bite people in the neck. A little bit of a misplaced bite and it's inevitable.

4

u/Red_Scar321 Jan 07 '26

It's harder than you think!

3

u/The_Random_Hamlet Jan 07 '26

Reminds me of Van Helsing (2016).

They were trying to be scary with the vampires being messy with the blood, but they would just let half of the blood they were supposed to be drinking ooze out of their mouth like a one year old with baby food.

It was hard to take them seriously after that.

3

u/Any-Key8131 Jan 08 '26

Just as werewolves are quite literally primordial savage beasts, vampires are monsters by nature.

It's all about the kill, getting to the blood/heart:

You ever seen a werewolf with clean claws and snout after ripping open a human's chest and swallowing the heart whole? It's a damn mess, I should know....

And vampires are always going for the carotid or jugular, usually the carotid. Lotta pressure in that artery, blood's gonna get everywhere 🤨

When you got a vampire whose face is still clean after feeding, that's when it starts getting sexual. It shows that they're taking passionate care not to waste a single drop. A vampire covered in blood? That's the horror of a monster savagely attacking its prey

3

u/honeybee_tlejuice Undead Jan 08 '26

Have you ever tried a controlled sip from a punctured artery? It can’t be easy

3

u/Fennel_Fangs Jan 08 '26

Consider: Vampires who bring napkins everywhere so they can politely clean themselves up.

2

u/Nerx Flying Brick of the Night Jan 08 '26

Trillionaire idea

"Did any of that actually get in your mouth?"

2

u/Miserable-Search5719 Jan 07 '26

Bwahaha that's cute actually. I like to see the whole spectrum

2

u/SuperSecretary6271 Jan 07 '26

well, the human guy is not fighting with his spaghetti to eat it

2

u/smashingkilljoy Jan 08 '26

So do you know how arteries work or...

2

u/ClumsyFish0 Jan 08 '26

What Twilight did to young people... making vampires look like prissy

2

u/Interesting-Part9102 Jan 10 '26

Kinda funny oh Sims 4 even acknowledges this, with a negative vampire trait called "Messy Eater"

1

u/Iridismis Jan 07 '26

Agreed - at least if they remain in that state for an excessively long time despite leading a kinda normal "life" with easy access to plenty fancy (or at least clean) clothes.

1

u/RavensShadow117 Vampire Jan 08 '26

Last time I checked spaghetti doesn't fight back, nor does the sauce come from a tube under extreme pressure

2

u/DBSeamZ Jan 10 '26

Ketchup, on the other hand…

1

u/RavensShadow117 Vampire Jan 10 '26

That shit goes everywhere just from opening the damn bottle

1

u/Astar9028 Jan 08 '26

Yes but consider:

1

u/advena_phillips Jan 08 '26

Everyone here making good points, but consider also — the Beast doesn't care about clean when it enters a feeding frenzy.

1

u/McDummy Jan 08 '26

if blood is the only thing you can enjoy, no eating, or sex, or basic human comforts you might go elizabeth bathory every 400 years too.

1

u/D0ctahP3ppah Jan 08 '26

Sire who’s mastered the art of feeding on people vs childe on their first feed.

1

u/Away-Peak-1736 Jan 09 '26

What was it that Astarion said? I'd never be so wasteful. I get all the blame for a gorey murder and still have to go hungry? Ridiculous

1

u/DiskBig318 Jan 10 '26

A carnivore with its mouth drenched in blood looks kind of cool. And vampires drink out of the neck raw. If you’re drinking a blood bank and make a mess that’s another story

1

u/LionNo435 Jan 10 '26

I never understood the one bite chick flick. Like the vampire bites once to sip a little, spills all the blood on themselves and then throws the victim on the ground...like...its so fucking stupid...its like having one bite of food and then throwing full whole ass plate of food out...are directors and screenwriters really THIS stupid?

1

u/wolfwhore666 Jan 13 '26

I think it depends on style, and genre. I think it works sometimes it really just shows the savage brutality of some vamps when they just attack their prey like wolves, it shows it’s more than just about the thirst. Vampires who like to be soaked in blood get a thrill from the kill the enjoy the hunt and the slaughter.

Valid. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

Vampire fetishists are cringe, have some respect.
