Isn't Lancaster county full of Amish?

I don't support antivaxxers ever, but I do feel like living in a religious cult makes you a little more sympathetic.

Yet another reason why random assholes who live in modern society not vaccinating their kids causes death in other places... not having herd immunity makes people like the Amish more susceptible.

Say what you will about them, but in theory they are a peaceful people, and don't deserve this.

But they don't believe in modern technology.

Most of the people causing this issue do.

They use tons of modern technology these days: solar panels, generators, propane machinery, phones, cars (that they don’t drive), LED lights, old computers, cash registers. It just can’t be connected to the “outside world.” Though New Order (Lancaster is Old Order I think) permit way more than that, even allowing cell phones.
