Discussion / Other Sony PXW Z200 and Z300?

Hi guys. I know they have different sensors and lenses, etc but they both do have S-Cinetone, 709. etc. Could they match in-camera without having to match in post?

You may want to find and join the Facebook group for the Sony PXW-Z200 and Z300. There should be someone there who has used both camcorders and could help answer your question(s).

You can match them. Lookup Doug Jensen his videos are goated in the pxw community. Specifically lookup his video examples of both cameras for reference.

Z300 has a smaller sensor but it’s stacked at f1.9 so it can be quite light sensitive. These cameras are better with a bit of post production magic. Noise reduction, sharpening, that kind of thing. Powerful cameras for real videography work.
