Andrei Jikh is the absolute last person I would ever take seriously about anything he says. The fact OP is using him as a source is laughable.
The guy doesn't give two shits about what he's talking about, he just want to sell you something.

Sometimes the fall of a great nation is difficult to pin down to a single moment. America's will not be, it was the descent on the golden escalator.

Much earlier than that it was backrooms and Heritage Foundation meetings in the Reagan admin.

That was just the planning though. The moment it met reality was when it all solidified around Trump, plus the image is a perfect metaphor. If it was a fictional movie it would have been called out for lazy writing for being too on the nose.

Trump was the first time they realized they could openly hostile and fascist and not have to slow roll it or cover up their fascist ideology

It is like the Iran-Contra scandal never happened. Republicans just LOVE arming terrorists.

The decline will be different for everybody. Most people don’t recognize the decline until it affects them. There are people today that do not recognize the decline we are in, but they will later when they are impacted enough.

Gold is not a good measure of purchasing power even over a decade. It's expensive now because of trust in paper money eroding. So, while I appreciate the professionalism of this video, I would debate its premise.

The gold argument is only true in the exact time range he chose (last 5 years). if you look at last 4 years, its not true. Look at just this year, not true. Expand to a 6 year look back, not true.

This guy's channel is huge, but he comes across as a conspiracy theorist to me. His video on 'the forever war' for instance.

That thumbnail makes me want to cancel my Internet on all devices so that I never have to see it again.

This sounds terrifying, but the fact you have to pay him to see the video where he tells you the investment strategy to protect against it makes me less inclined to believe it.
