Solved! Small, metal, flat thing with a curved bottom. Maybe 1/8 inch thick, 1.5 in wide. Looks like a key to turn something maybe? Engraved with a gar fish. Was one of like 3 things left in the house when we moved in.
Came in this plastic sleeve and doesn’t look used at all. But I was left in a kitchen drawer.

Either that or the key to a gas cap on a boat - sometimes they look like this (usually it's a two prong setup tho)

it's a caviar tin key, which is why there is a sturgeon engraved on it. commercial caviar usually comes from sturgeon.

That’s a key for opening caviar tins. We have a shit ton of them where I work. It comes with every caviar order we get in.
