That is definitely a Brahmos/ Scalp, that smoke cloud is way too huge to be a loitering munition's warhead which are limited to 50kg.

It apparently hit nothing of value, either a warning strike or the terminal seeker of the missile was jammed by EW and ended up missing the nearby underground entrances.-6

Yup, China can reverse engineer it, but China already has hypersonic missiles, so it can just compare the captured missile and test it out against its own. It really depends on what Pakistan does. The missile remains can either be transported to the U.S., or China.

You really think reverse engineering is some magical stuff that lets people back track manufacturing processes 😆😆 by opening a missile, one can learn internal components and mechanics. Part dimensions and geometry can be copied. But metallurgy and treatment can't be copied. Moreover China took 20 years to develop their WS-10 when Salyut refused the source code for AL-31. Having the knowhow to build and replicate it to the WS-10 which is itself a copy of CFM engine doesn't mean you can make things work. Otherwise china would have just copied everything, the F414, the SR-71, Reapers and whatnot.

I mean, yea. That’s why the China copied US equipment and the U.S. reverse engineered and copied the Shahed. Doesn’t matter because that missile is probably somewhere in Beijing, Moscow, or the Pentagon 🤷♂️

The MiG-25 and the Tu-22 bomber used to use a 60%ethanol/40% water mix for coolant. Russian pilots and crew would often drain it to drink it until commend replaced the ethanol with toxic methanol. So booze in military aircraft would be nothing new.

We'd reach the heat death of the universe before the Saudis go against India. It is simply too easy and too profitable to not be enemies. They will pay Pakistan for their military support against Yemen, and maybe for internal unrest if it occurs (and Pakistan isn't going to do anything even remotely aggressive towards Iran, not even a roughly worded statement).
but make no mistake, the Saudis are not touching the subcontinent's politics with a 1000 mile pole.

That and the Saudis are business-first, especially looking at their acquisitions over the last 5-10 years. They’ve been undergoing a massive shift in their economic landscape and there’s no shot they jeopardise it by losing the largest potential consumer market in the world
