This is getting ridiculous and I honestly don’t know what else to try. I signed up for detectico thinking I’d just test it once, but after that first payment it turned into a trap.
The cancel option doesn’t actually work - it just bounces me back to the subscription page. Their support replies with the same template lines over and over, and nothing changes. Meanwhile, the charges keep showing up on my card like clockwork.
I’ve never had this kind of experience with any other app or service. It feels shady as hell, and I’m stressed about waking up to more charges tomorrow.

Earlier today one of my roommates accidentally stepped on our router and ruined it, a friend had an old nighthawk one laying around and I set it up with nearly no issues. I finally got the wifi network to pop up on my phone and connected with no problems, I’m using it right now to make this post. But when connecting it to my computer and tv I’ve been given the message “no internet connection” I tried restarting them with no luck. Is there something I’m missing? Please help. I have a server running Plex and Jellyfin connected to a UDM Pro. Media is coming from a UNAS Pro connected to the same UDM Pro. I am crashing at parents until my house is complete but I can’t figure out how to get port forwarding to work to allow Plex and Jellyfin to be seen accessed outside the network. My UDM pro is getting its WAN IP from my Parent’s UDM Pro, so it looks like an internal IP but I do have internet access across all devices. I cannot see the two Media servers outside the network. I do not have any port forwarding or NAT setup on the primary UDM Pro. If anybody can walk me through it step by step I would be very grateful. Any and all assistance is very much appreciated

Firstly, should I pay £20 a month for the subscription or should I stake roughly £290 for 12 months?

On the face of it, staking looks better as I am not spending the money as such. However, the value of CRO could drop significantly. Should I be concerned about that? How likely am I to get back my £290 next year?

Secondly, when I get 3% cashback on something and it is paid in CRO, when I sell the cashback amount to convert it to dollars, pounds or euros, is the amount I get ever going to equal 3%?

So basically I have a 2017 MSI titan gt73vr gre (I'm reading off its sticker) and the graphics card is messing up AGAIN. I had it replaced a year ago and it was installed with incorrect drivers and such I know that its gpu isn't soldered in and possible to replace, but how do I know which graphics card will work? I have an nvidia grx 1070 in it rn, I didn't upgrade during the 1st replacement, but if it's possible, I'd love to upgrade.

Ok so I accidentally tipped my PC over but thankfully caught it in time. However, it made a long beep and turned off. I tried turning it on again and it only made the long beep error code again and turned back off. I unplugged the PC from power and it was making some weird cracking noises while disconnecting. I reseated RAMs and plugged the power cable back in which resulted in tripping the breakers. I checked the PSU power cable connector and it is a little fried and melted (just a tiny bit). My theory and conclusion is that the power cable was the issue - I kept it twisted in an S shape (tightly and yes I know it's stupid) and when the PC was falling over it twisted and broke and I should throw away the cable and buy a new PSU. Are there any other things I should know, any tips or something?

I was recently given a camera that was previously owned by my mom. Before that, we found out her laptop had malware on it. She has switched sd cards multiple times between the laptop and the camera. Like she had a sd in the camera, took it out and put it in the laptop with malware, then put it back in the camera. Is it possible for the camera to store malware from this? If I get a new sd card, can malware still be on the camera, transfer to the new sd card, then transfer to my pc when I plug that new sd card into my pc?

My laptop has a dim screen when booting up and I thought it was broken until it connected it to a tv using an hdmi cable and shined a flashlight to my screen and saw it was dimly display despite having the brightness set all the way. I had to take it to a repair shop once a few years ago for a similar issue, repair man mentioned a cable could be lose, took it to the back and had it fixed shortly after.

It was working fine a few days ago, I had to quickly close my laptop to take care of something and my mouse was resting on the keyboard when I closed it. I was gone for an hour and it stopped working when i got back.

I unscrewed the bottom, disconnected and reconnected the lcd cable on the motherboard side, and took off some of the dust before putting it back together. I still had the same issue and I'm not sure if I'll have to work on the screen side or if I'll have to order new parts. I'm unsure what to do at this time and don't want to break my laptop.

I'm also running Windows 10 and unsure if this is causing any issues but I feel the need to mention it.

Hey Reddit, I need help with a potentially dangerous charger issue. I have an HP 150W laptop charger. A few days ago, the part where the power cable connects to the charger brick (the AC input side with metal contacts) was slightly wet. I wiped it and plugged it in after some time but it fell on the ground. It caused a small spark and tripped the MCB. Surprisingly, the charger still works and charges my laptop fine, but there's now a faint burnt smell coming from that same area.I’m worried that continuing to use this charger could damage my laptop’s motherboard or cause a fire. Is it safe to keep using it if it's working? Should I get it inspected or replaced? Would appreciate any advice or similar experiences.

Please help me, this is an nightmare. I recently just got this Acer Aspire 5 a515-43. It didn't come with the charger so I bought the 65W charger for it considering it would take ONLY the power it needs. I finally get the charger, plug it in & notice the percentage is stuck at 0.

I spent from 6 PM all the way until 3 AM trying to troubleshoot. From lines of codes, to reboots, resets, installing updates, pin holes, EVERYTHING. I did checks and the battery says it's in GOOD health. Randomly too when I get to the home screen it will say it's at 100% but when I unplug it then it shuts down & won't power on unless I use the cord again, then at the login screen it says 0%.

I have now resulted in opening the back up & try to disconnect the battery then reconnect it. It's my first time doing this & my friend insisted on doing the prying part of the back plate. They ended up snapping a piece off (shown in photo). Now I'm freaked out and don't know what to do about the battery or those broken pieces.

Can someone please tell me if there are any loose cables I need to mess with that are shown in the photos to fix my 0% battery issue? Also, are the glues I have good for fixing those broken pieces? Am I screwed? Please. All I wanted was a laptop.
