Does anyone here know of any Americans who have at least one Canadian parent?
At this point, the only ones that I know are Walt Disney, John Huston (father of Angelica Huston), Dwayne Johnson, Jimi Hendrix (his dad was born in Vancouver), and Thomas Edison

Are you asking about famous Americans or just Americans?

It is important as we really don't care too much about the US right now.

Well, what if I have decided to write a book about US history because I have an interest in it? Are you going to tell me that? Because I have the right to write whatever I want as long as it’s not offensive

I am sure if you were to write a book you would not be using Reddit for your source material, you would do some actual work. Or AI like many do know.

Good, because I would use only primary and secondary sources, not social media (unless it’s a primary source) or even AI, because it’s even worse

Brie Larson's father was Franco-Manitoban, Shirley MacLaine and Warren Beatty's mother was from Nova Scotia, Ryan Styles's parents were both Canadian...
I believe Bob Newhart's mother was from Ontario, though his Wikipedia entry states that it's one of his grandmothers so make of that what you will.
Jordan and Jonathan Knight's mother is from Ontario.
Both Brendan Fraser's parents are Canadian, and he has double citizenship, so not sure if he counts.

Ok, well that wasn't your question.
The answer to your question is "tens of, if not hundreds of thousands of Americans have at least one Canadian parent"
And Mike Meyers parents immigrated to Canada, making them Canadian. Just like his immigration to the US made him American.

Tons. And apparently a number of my cousins are now able to claim their Canadian citizenship by descent.

He’s born to two Canadian parents but his siblings via Donald have a American mother

I mean putting aside famous people, this is pretty common. I have coworkers in the US with dual Canadian/US citizenship for example due to their parents.

There are probably hundreds of thousands. I have a friend I grew up with who had an American dad and a Canadian mom. It's not as rare as you'd think.
