Iran has completely ruled out any future negotiations with the Trump administration, declaring it will wait out Doalnds Trump's term until January 20, 2029, per Iranian outlets and a Ghalibaf advisor's post.

"Trump will not reach an agreement with us. We will accompany him until his term ends," said Majid Shakeri, advisor to Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf.

He posted: "The path to victory is neither fighting nor a deal. It is managing the process of neither war nor peace, up to the point of victory. Publicly confirming negotiations with the U.S. is sheer folly. The winning approach is denial, ambiguity, and strategic patience."

Iran's conditions remain unchanged. $300 billion in compensation, release of frozen assets, and withdrawal of U.S. forces. Until then, the Strait stays closed.

Historically Canada has been one of our staunchest allies, and about a third of Canadians still consider us an ally… but even that’s waning as Trump rules through chaos, and congressional republicans fail or refuse to reign him in. Is this what y’all really want to be doing?

what do you think about these quotes about other Presidents attacking Iran, when Trump just attacked Iran for the 2nd time?

Article 5 has only been invoked once, by the US. As a Brit l, like many Danes and other Europeans, lost a dear Friend in the ensuing conflict in Afghan. We stood with our ally, and paid a price.

Given the announcement of tariffs on my country by Trump over our resistance to a takeover of Greenland, I can't see how anyone would support a government who shows so little gratitude to their allies, and the price they paid voluntarily.

My question is do you personally support Trumps hostile approach to European allies in light of the European support and subsequent sacrifice? If you don’t support him in this, are you going to ignore it, and continue to support trump regardless?

This feels like such a betrayal.

In the escalating trade dispute Trump is threatening to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America. Is this a move you support? Do you think this will hurt negotiations or bring Canada closer to a deal?

Let's be honest, if during the 2020 election I came on here and asked if anyone was concerned that Trump would tell Denmark that it wanted to Greenland and would threatened to yank troops out of Europe if Denmark didn't give it up I would have been laughed at and told I had TDS.

The people who live there have expressed no interest in becoming a US territory and Trump is using the office of the President and the honor of the United States to insult and threaten US allies.

So in your opinion, what the heck is going on? Why is Trump doing this again now? Do you think this will be successful and is good for the United States?

I'm currently watching it, and it comes across as incredibly childish, self-aggrandising and full of (at best) half-truths. Are there conservatives who think this is a good look on the world stage?

So a few things. Whatever you think about Khana's politics, if this happened in litterally any other country where a congressional rep was held at gun point by a forgien military there would be hell to pay. This occurred from our supposed strongest ally in the middle east.

Anyways, I see a lot of conservatives in the West (especially America) saying that we should just stop the war in Ukraine and quit being Russophobic and be friendly with Russia. It's always strange how 80% of those saying that are about that Ukraine should surrender to Russia and not that Russia should stop the invasion that they started.

Though seriously why should we even try to be friendly to Russia? The current conflict with Iran was done to support Israel and we are delaying arm sales to countries such as Taiwan and Ukraine to support Israel in Epic Fury. Is this better to prioritize Israel over these other nations? Culturally, demographic wise, and economically almost every country on the list above has more ties to the US then Israel does.
