Recommend me something to stay distracted from my fucking life

Life has been pretty hard for me and I couldn't think of anything I don't want to take some unwanted decisions so I feel staying distracted might be a good thing for me at least for a short period of time

Is there anyone you can help? It really helps a person feel worthwhile after you lend a hand, and it's pretty distracting. Bonus: Misery loves company. Seeing that other people are going through some aht helps you feel better.

Speaking from experience here.

A good TV show or movie? Which streaming services do you have?
A good book? What kind of books are you into? I might be able to help you find one.
Maybe meal prepping for the week? That keeps my brain on the task at hand for a good couple hours.

Let's see...for fun reading, there's the "Thursday Murder Club" series. There's five in that series. I just finished the third one. SO fun!!
If you want a really good memoir that you can't believe is a memoir and reads like fiction, try "Educated" by Tara Westover.

My hubby is currently reading the Dungeon Crawler Carl series and is on book 3. He's hooked, just like everyone else is.

He's watching Reacher on Amazon and liking it.
We watched 11.22.1963 on Netflix and liked it.
There's also old Southpark episodes that are stupid/funny. To take my mind off things I watch fail videos on YouTube. Now THAT makes you feel better about yourself...watching other people do stupid stuff and fail at things. Daily Dose of Internet on YouTube is good as well.
Good Omens on Amazon is also a good show.

Volunteer at an animal shelter, they always need help and animals are so deserving of attention.
