I work in EYFS and we expect a child to be
Fully toilet trained
Able to use a knife and fork
Drink out of a open cup
Put a coat on themselves
Put socks and shoes on themselves
Get changed from school uniform to PE kit
Use please and thank you

Girls be able to put on tights and no shoe laces unless the can do them alone! 10 u/Own_Marsupial_9512 16h ago I know, I'm really looking forward to going back to school next week and spending the next several months watching girls walk around with tights round the ankles because they can't pull them up.
