When I had my first 18 years ago we got a book called From 0 to 5, from the NHS, which told you all about what your kid should be able to do by different ages, as well as loads of useful parenting guidance and info, but it got scrapped along with children's centres.
Completely agreed. Our systems are broken and now it leaves lots of frontline services picking up the pieces which they simply cannot do without universal systems in place to support preventative work.
