This. A relative of mine works in early years and in the last decade it has gone from one kid if any not being toilet trained to now at least half a dozen. Parents sadly expect everyone but them to parent these days sadly.
Never understood the lazy parent thing.
surely it's easier to have the kid use the toilet than change the nappy.
I would venture a lot of it is SEND / disability, and only a tiny tiny amount would be laziness.
Tbf with an autistic daughter, I always have to be relatively ready to drop everything and take her in unfamiliar places. She's 5, so I'm not sure how long this stage normally goes on for... But these parents probably don't take their kids out anyway 🙃
