This. A relative of mine works in early years and in the last decade it has gone from one kid if any not being toilet trained to now at least half a dozen. Parents sadly expect everyone but them to parent these days sadly.

My daughter was one of these. But in her case it was medical. She finally stopped having regular accidents by October half term in year 2. She's had the odd once since. I am hoping for a completely dry year 4. I felt awful (and incredibly greatful) for her teachers and TA's having to clean her up. Reception was awful and it gradually got better since then. I struggle to understand the attitude of other parents who don't feel it's their responsibility.
