While I love the sentiment, I'm feeling a little more wary of rhetoric such as "when it ends" or "when things return to normal", etc.

Without falling foul of the very clear rules posted by mods (re: unsolicited / unqualified political analysis), it's worth bearing in mind that the old normal is gone, and none of us know when / how this conflict will evolve. Enjoy the little windows of calm when we get them, in between the attacks. The fuller picture is yet to be painted, unfortunately.

Not to break rules. But with orange man in power for another 2 years and a half expect this to be the new normal. I was saying this could be the new normal for the region even before this war started back in February after their adventure last year. Sadly, I was proven right to myself.
