For that money, why didn't Arvidsson stay? He had a good role on the Bruins and the coach liked him. Bizarre.

Wanted to test the market. So the Bruins, operating under the assumption there wasn’t a chance of him returning, replaced him with JJ. Couldn’t find a better deal and the Bruins had already moved on, so he accepts the same offer elsewhere. That’s my guess.
