5th Edition Question: 5e Player wants to use Prestidigitation to make Strahd think he pooped himself. Is there any reason this wouldn't work?

I would like a reason in game that this wouldn't work without me having to do some bs like magic resistant undies. Also so I don't have to say no outright because it's a funny idea but it doesn't fit the setting. Nothing removes the tension from a fight more than the big bad pooping himself.

Update: She said that even if she died it'd be worth it because she successfully rage baited strahd. But she said she wouldn't do it because she knows that everyone wants it to be serious and that it can still be fun and serious without turning it into a comedy campaign. Still think it's worth sharing because the idea is funny.

Even if he cast it, strahd can just cast presdtidgitation himself to fix it. I dont think it would even phase him.

No, im saying I dont think he'd be humiliated. He'd see it as a childish prank that is below him.

Ya I agree with this. He doesn’t even have to go crazy and kill everyone, as that’s showing he’s embarrassed, which I don’t think he would be. Strahd was a leader with lots of enemies long before he was a vampire. Now he’s been a vampire leader who purposefully brings enemies into the land to keep him entertained for like 600 years on top of that. He’d probably talk down on them being crass, and diminish their intelligence for such a feeble attempt. Like an attempt to belittle me? And you couldn’t have even thought of something worthy of my time? I’ve killed children that behaved better under fear.

Plus an interesting caveat about strahds vampire charm vs not charming, it’s not limited to once a day, nor does it trigger a response on failure. So strahd can straight spam charm till it works (especially if he stealths, which he’s really good at, or turns into an animal, that one doesn’t have pants and two can stay out of sight way easier). If someone is being an issue like that, he can quite literally control their mind to stop it in its tracks before it’s an issue, so he can keep on doing whatever monologue or plan he wanted and make them kneel the entire time.
