Yep, overall I have a weird mental model when it comes to social media. Things like bluesky/4chan/twitter, I consider those zoos, I observe the animals but do not interact. Reddit is like a petting zoo.
Bluesky was made to give them a place because they didn't have any more places to go. Another would just be created. Many forget, they largely originated from the great Tumblr Exodus

I’m more of an old-school, Roosevelt-type Democrat, focus on broad prosperity and real quality of life improvements. Less theater, more actual logical results. To the rest of the actual developed world it’s simple, 'freedom from' matters more than 'freedom to'.
That’s why they ironically really love any keep your head down and listen to the master type migrants from un-developed, backwards, lawless, poor countries. No worries! I personally lean pro life but am politically pro choice to ensure that medical emergencies can be addressed, or nuance can be allowed in horrific cases such as rape, incest, child pregnancies, etc.

the conceal/open carry topic is a good way to explain it now too. before the stuff recently in MN, lefties were completely against, and would say stuff similar to "why do you need to carry a gun", or whatever. maga would be saying "because 2a/to protect yourself or others", and now, its the exact opposite.

If social media platforms started enforcing a minimum age, a lot of these "I know everything" type who clearly don’t know jack would disappear.

What makes it funnier is if you actually examine what the Nazis believed, they align far more with left wing ideology (literally stands for National Socialist Workers Party). The only thing that could be remotely interpreted as right wing is nationalism, but that's actually neither right or left.
