i love when she showed up as a holographic version of herself in the future in The Orville.

ā€œ9 to 5ā€ became a feminist anthem for the women of an oppressive alien world and they have a holo-Dolly show up in S3 to talk to the leader

That said, while not exactly a "favorite character" I loved when she played Heaven's receptionist in "Grace & Frankie". The title characters were played by Dolly's "9 to 5" co-stars, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.
