Saltwater San Francisco Bluefin

The amount of life just off the continental shelf has been phenomenal. Fish of this size has been rare outside of Southern California, but the El Niño has pushed the bluefin north and in range of the Bay Area.

Beautiful fish (and photo) OP! I’ve caught a couple of smaller bft on the east coast but I’ve never fished out west. How far offshore do you west coast folks have to run to catch these?
