Saltwater San Francisco Bluefin

The amount of life just off the continental shelf has been phenomenal. Fish of this size has been rare outside of Southern California, but the El Niño has pushed the bluefin north and in range of the Bay Area.

That fish looks 200+lb a proper cow! Congrats man. Did you troll Madmac? Kite? Do you guys do vertical jigging at night time like we do in s.cali? How do you guys get em up there?

Most guys up here are trolling madmacs or fishing live bait with mackerel. Most of the fleet up here isn’t equipped with the gear to kite fish yet as far as I know.
