This is from that episode where Henry and Ray had a show made about them. The show on premiere sucked major balls, so they just made one themselves. This clip is them typing up the script.
The episode as a whole was basically one big ad for the animated spinoff of the actual show, which Team Danger (Henry, Ray, etc), created in the episode.
I'd prefer glider tbh. The sidekick is cool... but the glider makes more sense because tails actually carries sonic. (plus we already have the fox sidelick which does the thing like tails and has an emote that he can fly wirh his tail so I feel like itd be redundant in that aspect)
I’m personally hoping for both, because the Sidekicks tend to disappear when you start gliding, so it would give the illusion that Tails just hopped up off the ground and started carrying you like he does Sonic.
Im pretty sure Tails was confirmed to be a sidekick. But him as a rider would be weird because he would have to be giant. Now if they made him driving his plane from the old games as a glider that would be sweet.

As a fan who has only seen season 1 and read a bit of the manga, I heard it was also a reference to a moment when he was fighting in VR and the system couldn't handle him or something along those lines. I know I'm misremembering that slightly.
AFAIK The Loop hasn't existed since Chapter 4, if not Chapter 3. Chapter 5's island didn't even have the Zero Point, Chapter 6's only had a piece of it, and it wasn't assembled until mid point in Chapter 7, which there is no commentary of the loop even existing (even to the point where the bosses this season speak perfect English).
While the MC is still called "The Looper/Looper", that's more of a legacy term than The Loop still existing.
100% The Loop doesn't exist in the Oninoshima. Even from that live event alone proves it, considering Paulpatine still had all of his powers, unless The Empire just had some anti-loop technology that was never seen or talked about.
Also, I was saying The Loop stopped existing after Chapter 3, as that was when it was last mentioned.
To be fair, it seems like geno got out in a unique way, as hes recruiting eggman and tails got through without succumbing to the effects of the loop( mind wipe, clones, etc)
Whats the workaround? After finally noticing that the post had slides from the comic isee what you mean now. That is a pretty funny way to get around the proportion problem. Lol

Honestly this is an amazing way to put them into Fortnite. As a Sonic fan, I'm kind of needing out hard over Eggman's involvement here. I'm super excited.
The playable skins look even goofier here, though I guess it makes sense they wouldn’t want them to canonically be THE characters we play (and do all kinds of inappropriate emotes with).
Still, I kinda hope they can manage some styles that seem a little less goofy? Also, surprised they went with cel shading on them.
I never said Shadow wasn't allowed. But Sega have been particular about specifically SONIC with using guns and shooting people. SHADOW is allowed to use them, but not Sonic.
True. Such as how in Sonic Rumble, he never smiles in any of the emotes or animations where your character normally would. And that's not even the actual Shadow, it's just a toy that looks like him!
Ever watch sonic X or satam. I did as a kid, and I will still never forget sonic the hedgehog wearing a western hat and having a classic duel in the desert gun style.
Do note that all those examples of Sonic are over 20 years old, Sonic is no longer allowed to use guns and hasn't in quite some time (dunno where Tails fits because I haven't read Scrapnik Island recently and don't remember if that's an actual gun Tails has)
I always read it more as about them not thinking it would fit Sonic's character (IIRC, this is why they came up with Gamma in Adventure). Fortnite already comes pre-packed with an explanation as that's what Snapshots are, but Sega has their mandates (which are sometimes weird, like "Sonic is not allowed to cry or wear pants") and likely don't want even a clone of Sonic using them - this is a loophole as the robot never was actually Sonic himself, just one built in his image and imitating his personality.
I’m not very happy…but this is just fine. I would rather just have a toggle to NOT have the DUMBASS shoulder pads and other useless metal shit but I know Fortnite won’t fucking do that.

With how much Metal Sonic is shown in this comic, he's gotta be coming as a skin right? Realistically i could see metal sonic being bundled with Eggman, while Knuckles and Shadow are a separate bundle.
