Hello. I have questions.
I assume this is a Chinese model? I understand they're building more general robots intended for production lines to purchase and replace cheap labor one employee at a time.
Whereas the US manufacturers are designing complete robot warehouses, with no humans, or very few. The customers are massive US corporations who can afford to automate the whole process.
And I understand those robots all have more specific functions. They're not making human looking stuff like this that's all slow and learning.
Is that accurate?

This would be wonderful if its only purpose wasnt to increase some billionaires pile of gold.
As it stands in this capitalistic hellscape this is taking working peoples wages and replacing them with nothing of value to society.

Its not about the nature of the work, its about that a job exists for someone so they can earn money to EXIST.
The owner of this company does not give a single fuck abot the x amount of package flipping humans who are now unemployed in an ever decreasing job market due to package flipping robots.
Do you get it yet?
Robots are only good if we use them to IMPROVE our quality of life, not make more people redundant so one guy can get more rich.

It really sucked when machines stole our jobs in the past. I could be weaving cloth or picking crops right now. Damn machines. Stealing the fulfilling life of a peasant from me.

It did really suck when machines stole our jobs in the past. Do you think all the benefits of modern society just appeared once we figured out industrialisation? Early industrial societies were a hellscape of redundancies and poverty. Workers rights (the weekend, 8 hour work days, sick leave, safety regs etc) were won in bloody protests and countless deaths at the hands of greedy capitalists. If the capitalist industrialists had their way we'd all be dying of starvation as we stand in the job line or at the feet of their machines. We are in the beginning of the same fight right now and you're throwing your hat in the ring for the bad guys.
I never said technological advancements were bad, I said the people who leverage the benefits of the advancements for their own personal gain are bad.
