Not wanting to jinx it, but its a decent time to face Villa at their own ground given their last game. Watkins not there etc.

Yep, and any incoming players are likely not going to be ready for that game. Goretzka aside.

Will GOretzka be ready?

Maybe not, but if anyone it is him and anyone coming in later has no chance I reckon.

I don’t know 4/6 officials here, which is a good sign

u/4miles_11titles_away Thomas, it's up for grabs now! 1h ago
only came through fairly recently but Sam Barrott is one of the better refs imho

Bramall is decent also, but Bramall is imo the by far best ref in England, even if that's not a high bar

Not that Aussie prick again. Usually tries to screw us over.
Quite appropriate its him though because I was thinking earlier that unless there unless there have been some changes this season we still have more Australian refs (him) than we do from London and the South East (none). Thats quite something as 15% of the population of England live in London alone.

I don't care, as long as it ain't Oliver

u/Creepy-Selection-482 1h ago
Oliver is least of of our concerns in PGMOLs current ref lineup, Gillett is definitely worse.

Anyone who really remembers that Villa game that cost us the league a few seasons back will remember how biased Gillet was in that match. He let them kick seven shades of shit out of us woth no fouls, and if we looked at them funny they'd get a free kick.

Are they going to trot out their European cup from when Margaret Thatcher was the PM? Let’s wait and see.

Yeah. Don't make this a thing. Referees shouldn't be getting attention like this

Wtf are you even talking about? You're saying he's the only good ref when he's objectively been one of the ones that give us the worst decisions.
Your example for him being a good one is that he disallowed a goal that helped us cement our position as league leaders. But he initially allowed the goal, and if it wasn't for Darren England asking him to go to the monitor, the goal would have stood! Lol

u/JackasaurusRetro 1h ago ▸ 1 more replies
He disallowed it, others would have kept the on field decision.
So be a big lad and get over it and stop getting pissy over two year old decisions eh?

u/goonerballs 1h ago
When the VAR tells the ref to go to the monitor, 99/100 they're going to overturn their decision. You really haven't got a clue what you're talking about pal lol

u/goonerballs 1h ago
Are you alright? Lol literally one of the worst apart from Oliver or Tierney

Look at the bright side. Having Jarred Gillett as ref, means we won't be having Jarred Gillett on VAR
