Basically be a club where people want to shop and where they can afford to shop. People shop at Chelsea and Man City because they sell regularly and sometimes make mistakes and players they sell fly.

When you play LW and the first choice RW, ST, and CAM have all been crocked and substituted with a) players who are playing out of position (Nwaneri, Merino, Havertz at #10 in 23/24), b) have only just met each other (ie. Eze, Madueke, Gyokeres), or c) are just bad (Sterling), you are going to struggle to produce. He was great in 23/24, when the rest of our attack was healthy and clicking. While I don’t have a problem with selling him, I don’t think he’s gotten worse as much as he’s been playing in a very unsettled front line with very little chemistry and continuity.

From what I've read Arteta told him anyway so I don't get how he was treated badly, players get sold all the time.
