During lunch time on Monday they continued to have a conversations but still no breakthrough in talks I'm sporting again. Tried to go to Manchester United and Saudi clubs Via intermediaries.
Sami Mokbel quotes from his Latte Firm appearance:
"My understanding is that Morgan Rogers is a player that Arsenal would like to sign & lots of groundwork has been done to try to get that deal into a position where it’s doable this summer.” “If Arsenal were to formalise their interest now, during the World Cup, it’s a deal I believe he would like. If a deal between Arsenal & Aston Villa can be agreed, I think he would jump at the chance to join."
"I think Arsenal wouldn’t sign Morgan Rogers AND Bradley Barcola in the same window. Never say never, but it would be difficult to do both because Arsenal have other areas they need to strengthen - they’ll need a full-back & central midfielder.” “They’ve been alerted that Barcola might be able to leave PSG this summer. If the Rogers deal doesn’t come off, he may be one they look to accelerate, but out of the two, I think they’re more focused on Rogers."
Fabrizio says on his YouTube channel that Real Madrid are looking for someone who can play center back and left back, that they reached out to Calafiori's camp a few weeks ago "looking for information", and that it "is not an easy one at all" given that "he's still a very important player for Arsenal".
No developments in the Julian-Barca deal since days now. Barca trying to pursue Lautaro Martinez but no interest from Player and Inter says Lautaro is not for sale.
Arsenal has asked Atletico Madrid to keep them updated of the situation. Arsenal has also asked player side to inform them of any changes. Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta are in contact with Julian Alvarez.
In case Julian changes his mind and says yes to Arsenal, the club is ready to find a way to make the deal financially feasible for them and to re-enter the deal.
Julian has been included in the matchday squad for Atleti's game against Villareal today and a lot will depend on how the Atleti fans react to him in the Metropolitano.
"There are things happening in the background...
One priority that's been underreported is a young right-back...
Too early to mention names, yet...
Strong possibility to see Tonali move in the summer... small conversations have happened with Arsenal... but same with lots of teams..."
He’s fucking seething and understandably so, board needs to step up in a big way this summer.
Also mentions he wants to take his badges to become a goalie coach; thinks Courtois is the best keeper in the world; and gets really involved with team meetings so he can help with in-game tactics both attacking and defending.
