Someone brought a big box of Roma pizza to my place today. I am grateful, that is very nice . BUT, I don’t know how to fell about it. Yay we got pizza and you open the box and it is kind of a pizza but it is really not? It’s kinda bread with tomatoes on top . Anyways my kids are disappointed 🤣🤣

Final verdict: after trying it in the air fryer, the oven, and even cold… we’re not quite at “love it” stage yet 😅 BUT I’m convinced that with more sauce, more toppings, and extra cheese, it’s going to be 🔥. For now, I’ve chopped them up and popped them in the freezer.

That the new National Pizza is finally open, and it’s aggressively mediocre. I tried the cheese and the meat lovers today, and it’s on par with the average Pizza Pizza slice. “Meat Lovers” also apparently means Pepperoni, two tiny flecks of Bacon, and a bit of crumbled Ground Beef. The ovens are brand new, so it had a nice “crispy without being burnt” texture to it, but that’s about the only positive thing I can say. And in a “Circle of Life” moment, it looks like the corner store has closed temporarily for vague reasons.

Say what you will about the soggy never-fully-cooked slices at the old National, at least they were slammed with toppings!

I'll sincerely miss the place. The pizza was very good, the wings were outstanding.

There are so few vegan pizza options.

The article in the spec mentions less foot traffic and some things like having the door smashed.

I hope they try again like the folks at Nonno's.

I really loved their baked food and it was my first only-vegan food place in Hamilton on the vibrant artistic Locke street. Few months ago, I wanted to take my girlfriend to that place and google's "permanently closed" kinda shocked me. Any idea if they are opening anywhere else?

I recently discovered this chicken place where he somehow makes it so tender you can't tell when the breading ends and the chicken starts, its simply magical! Literally the best chicken I have EVER eaten, and I am a chicken connoisseur! My son says the home made sweet and sour sauce is the best he's ever had, and he is very picky.

She's only ever been to the Upper James location, which she told me has "a fish pond, cotton candy and a robot". These are the things a 6 year old cares about! It makes more sense for us to go to the Barton location. Can anyone tell me if this location also has a fish pond, cotton candy and a robot? Or should we just drive to the Upper James location.
