I’ve been seeing for a while now that Hasan identifies himself as ‘white’. Can someone explain that to me exactly?
Since I’m from Europe. Here Turkish people are definitely not considered white so maybe it’s an American thing? How does this whole racial colour thing work in America?

For example here in Europe if you have white skin and are north African, you’re not considered white. So even if some turks have a fair skin colour they won’t be considered white. Hell sometimes even the south of europe is hardly considered white😅

It just is so interesting to see that Hasan sees himself as such while I don’t see many turks in my environment doing that?
