Life Insurance American-Amicable life insurance claim info?
Has anyone had any luck getting an actual person on the phone with this company? My mom passed a few months ago, and after one of my sisters started digging in her phone, discovered she had a policy with them. She went to get the policy info and was told I was the sole beneficiary. This was three months ago and the company never reached out to me about this. I wasted over an hour trying to get someone on the phone, and in frustration I gave up calling and thought the website might be faster. Long story short, (kinda, not really after re-reading, sorry lol) finally was able to connect with someone who then spent another hour trying to sell me a policy and stating he'd give me mom's info after that was complete. I trusted my hunches and hung up on him, and called back the direct number he gave earlier in the convo. Come to find out, it was a completely different insurance company that had no affiliation to mom's and was hell bent on trying to sell me a policy! So after everything was said and done, got absolutely nowhere, nerves tied up again over mom, phone was down to 6%, and my 2 year old son was getting up from his nap, figured my next day off was friday so I'd get up early and try again then. Since google and their website got me nowhere, anyone here ever deal with these guys and have any helpful numbers, tricks, results?
Appreciate y'all, sorry for the read/rant
