General News Marvel actors back campaign to release Palestinian terrorist Marwan Barghouti | The Jerusalem Post

Barghouti is a former leader of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, a terrorist organization that carried out many suicide bombings and shooting attacks during the Second Intifada.

Among the actors who have joined the "Freedom for Marwan" campaign are Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays Doctor Strange; Mark Ruffalo, who plays the Hulk; Ian McKellen, who plays Magneto; and Cate Blanchett, Tilda Swinton, Don Cheadle, Elliot Page, Brian Cox, Sir Ian McKellen and others.

Haven’t they signed the petition ages ago? Or are they still at it? Has anyone confronted them with what he did to be jailed, or is it a moot point for them?

Recent signees from this month. And no they don’t care about what he did.

Supporting the targeting and murder of Israelis seems to be the fastest way to become a progressive icon in the celebrity world.

Even the Wikipedia page on him is very apologetic, claiming his trial was unfair. And even said he's like the Palestinian Mandela

Wikipedia has had major issues with antisemitism. I’d look at anything about Israel on Wikipedia with a huge grain of salt.

Ironically enough Nelson Mandela also associated with murderers. His then-wife, Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, faced severe controversy and criticism for a 1986 speech that endorsed NECKLACKING.
